This thread should have been ended after the first person mentioned Raven. He should be a multi multi time world champ everywhere hes went.... The guy had it all(pretty much out of his prime now though)

Goldberg in WWE. Had TONS of earnng potential, but the end result...didn't live up to expectations. You could actually say that about alot of the WCW stars who went to WWE...

I'll have to say Goldust.
A gimmick that was just too ahead of it's time for it's own good. It started off beautifully with the Razor Ramon gimmick, and was still very over as 1996 rolled on. But then things went downhill with the face turn and the subsequent Artist Formerly Known As Goldust angle. Then in the next few years he gets fired and rehired on 167 different occasions, with nobody knowing what to do with him.
I still think there's a lot of steam left in the original character.

Rob Conway, he has the look and has the talent but just can't make it in the big time. His Buff Bagwell V2 was working, then the rug was pulled from under him. Last seen being fired and no word since.
Nick Dinsmore in OVW was phenomenal, but his shelf life as Eugene is over.
Jamie Noble, as mentioned should be battling for the cruiserweight championship. he had a great fued with Hurricane/Helms in 2002.
any of the Natural born Thrillers. O'Haire, Jindrak, Palumbo, etc, they were the new blood in WCW and raw talent for the next genertion ready to be groomed . Instead they all have but disappeared of the face of the earth.

i honestly think any FBI or Mamalukes gimmick.
honestly, a heel version of the APA. a cool mob gimmick. where heels pay off these guys to "wack" or take out people. I mean these guys could had just been mid-card entertainment, but the reason it never followed through is cause they never had a big name guy. and i don't mean ME level, just a big figure head guy who could cut a solid promo, and Little Guido can cut a promo, and he has a good face to be an angry Italian guy who punishes people. but he's to small. but with that said they could had used his small size as kind of a "I may be small, but i can hurt you" kinda guy.
god if i was any kind of booker i would make this happen. Wresting needs a godfather/Goodfella's mob gimmick, not just italian dudes waving their flag.

Now come on, that could've gone a long way, but poor Spivey's knees ended those chances. No one's fault, just a shame that the years of wear took their toll.

Ron Simmons in WWF 10 years ago, he WAS the leader and got kicked out by a rookie. He was the one who got the world title shot at King of the Ring 97, but got nothing. No belt. Instead, they make him a lackie of Undertaker in a mediocre tag team called the Acolytes, and that then became the APA.

Marty Jannetty, though a lot of it was his own fault, especially in his recent comebacks.
