I hate when the tag belts go through this angle. The angle where two main eventers get them for a little bit only to toss them to the side. Main event single wrestlers should be around the WWE title. Tag titles look low when they go through this angle. I will always hate this angle.

Hehe, well, from a kayfabe standpoint, I think he's just pissed more at the fact he didn't win the Rumble and go on to face Cena at WM than being a tag champ again.

Let's not pretend that the titles were being used properly before HBK and Cena won them. The tag titles should be something being contested for by the Highlanders, Cade and Murdoch, World's Greatest Tag Team, and Cryme Tyme. They could also reunite V-Squared and La Resistance if they wanted to. However, the real tag teams seem to be content with fighting each other rather than wrestling whoever the tag team champs are at the time. Let's who has held the titles in the last year:
February 2006-February 2007:
--Kane and Big Show (Two monster singles wrestlers put together)
--Spirit Squad (now defunct 5 man stable)
--Ric Flair and Roddy Piper (even if it was cut short due to sad circumstances, it was still not a real tag team)
--Rated RKO (Two main eventers, have essentially split)
--Shawn Michaels and John Cena (Two main event singles wrestlers)
