I have to admit I don't much care for TNA. It's nice to watch when nothing else is on but I don't go out of my way to watch it. Last night I was channel surfing and I saw Wrestling Society X. I laughed at first at the thought of wrestling on MTV but nothing was on so I watched it. I guess I missed the first showing and got to watch Vampiro vs 6 Pac for the championship. I thought it was a decent match and looked pretty good. Vampiro won in the end, kinda pissed me off, but then again when you're part of the booking crew why not win? But this isn't about him or 6 Pac, it's about another brand that isn't owned by VKM. Can this possibly take off or no? Will another company raise up and present a struggle for the top with Vince? I am just wondering. I was a big WcW fan but I don't honestly know how they came around. Was it just like boom overnight they were fighting with Vince or no? I am just wondering will VKM ever be forced to make a good show again.

For the time being, nothing is going to beat WWE.
Yeah, WWE might be lacking in some aspects, but one thing they are not lacking is money. They have plenty of it, and continue to make a huge profit. I don't think TNA are even turning a profit yet (they are only in business because of their financial backers, anyway). WSX have just started, and it won't be taken seriously enough by MTV to become any sort of competition.

Yeah, I don't see anything today that's going to rival WWE anytime soon.

Of couse it will. There is no one close that could challenge it. TNA has some stars but it has a very long ways to go and I feel that they were closer in 2004 than here in 2007. WSX is a tv show put on by MTV so that can't compete. I find it enjoying but it's not going take over WWE. ROH well come on they are number 3 but they aren't even close to TNA's level let alone WWE. If TNA can get a 2 hour timeslot it will do alot of good and they have name value people now but they don't have any storyline that I have to see and WWE would be better if they had better bookers. Except for Micheal Hayes the bookers for WWE suck ass way worse than Russo. So WWE will remain supreme for a very long time although it dosen't deserve too at least with the crap with RAW and ECW.

Yes in the pro wrestling world, but UFC is ruining the product indirectly moreso than Professional Boxing.

WWE's pretty secure for the forseeable future. WSX is no threat, because it's just another MTV tv show that'll be cancelled in a year or so(hopefully sooner), and TNA would really have to improve the quality of their shows to even hope to draw in as many viewers as WWE does.

In the next 5 years I would say yes. But after that, it's hard to tell.

I hate to say it... but without a Ted Turner or a another Billionaire who is 100% dedicated to the promotion... Vinnie Mac will be unrivaled
WSX has MTV... if MTV can take it seriously.... it haas a much better chance than TNA

i don't think the wwe has to worry about another wrestling group anyitme soon. its ufc and mma that they have to worry about (yes i know ufc gets much lower tv ratings, that doesn't matter since the wwe isn't making much money from tv, its all about ppv buys)
