For anyone who missed it, this is what Melina said on her official site (Ringbabe) about Mickie before it was taken down like a day later: Yeah, I remember reading this, it made me laugh about the Micky wanting to be Trish angle, art imitating life etc.

You can count on at least 4 hair pull throws during any WWE women's match these days. Yeah, but like I said, I'd expect that from the DS rejects, not "wrestlers" like Mickie and Melina. Edit: And that These to just kept going for the hair the majority of the time, while doing a few wrestling moves in between didn't help either. That's a rather lame complaint. Like the other poster said, hair pulling has been a part of womens wrestling from the beginning. Whether they are accomplished wrestlers or just the DS rejects, they all do it!

i don't care what you say... so they played stiff. kurt angle is stiff. he's unprofessional then. joe can go stiff. he's unprofessional. kobashi is stiff and he's unprofessional. who really cares man... i enjoyed the match surprisingly. they can all deal with their problems off screen. Well said. I think those who are complaining about them being stiff the other night are no different than those who defend one of their darlings when they break somebodys nose but will be quick to attack a wrestler they hate when they do the same thing.

There's only one way to settle who's telling the truth...give each girl a BRAIN CHOP...Khali shall set them free...

Again, I don't have a problem with hair pulling, it's just that this sudden show of aggression from a budding fued feels rushed from a angle standpoint, plus adding the past history of these two don't help matters. If they're going to be like this every time the have a match together than I'd rather they not feud.

I hadn't seen Melina's comments until now, and all i have to say is WOW. I don't know what is actual truth and not just Melina making things up. But Mickie James does not sound like a very nice person, she almost sounds like her on screen character. A little k-razy

I think it bears repeating that those comments made from Melina were posted about a year ago. I have no doubts that the two of them have put any personal differences aside and are in fact being professional. I still think that the brawling that we saw was intentional, to drive home the point that it's "not just a wrestling match, it's personal".

It could, in fact, be a "repeat" of Flair/Foley where the two people couldn't seem to get along, an angle was made of it, and it was then revealed that they legitimately got along. Maybe. It could even be a worked shoot, for all we know(though this is highly unlikely).

Well, bearing all the doghouse rumors surrounding Melina at the moment, Melina seems like the person would doesn't know how to hold back in anything, and that can get you into trouble when you're walking on eggshells backstage. So it wouldn't surprise me to see her (or Hell, even both women) to make the most out of their match to get their legit aggression out on each other. But we'll see if this trends continues.

I like Melina, but I have to laugh every time I read her rant against Mickie. She writes a 1000 word essay on how much she despises the girl and then finishes it up with "not that I care." Honestly, if I didn't know the back-story between these two, I wouldn't have known anything was unusual about the match. I actually liked that it was a bit nastier than your average Diva match. I'd like to see these two work through their differences and have a prolonged feud. I tend to think these "Melina's in the doghouse" reports are a bit exaggerated anyway. But who knows...

Nobody claimed when Edge and Matt Hardy worked a match. Why not Mickie and Melina? I thought the match was great! Not from a technical standpoint or anything... But Mickie vs. Trish at Wrestlemania wasn't exactly a technical messiah-standard match either but it was still able to become a MOTY contender. (Unforgiven 2006 beat them with Trish vs. Lita) One important aspect in a good match is having the crowd get into it. Mickie vs. Melina already got that marked down, and there's more to come.

I don't think a lot of people know about the alleged actual heat between the two, I didn't catch everything that was said, but did J.R. mention anything?

I don't think he did but I think the fans should be aware of the FREAKING AWESOME catfight they had backstage. Should give a good idea on how much they hate each other.
