Mickie vs Melina = Unprofessional

After re-watching the match, it became apparent to me that both ladies cannot have a decent match against one another by the childish manner that they preformed throughout the match.

Hair-pulling? I'd expect that from Maria or Candice, not from trained wrestles like Mickie and Melina. The obvious sloppiness of the whole thing was well covered up by the unusually loud crowd heat during the match, which is the only good thing that came out of the match, since most diva matches have people sitting on their hands or going to the bathroom. While being stiff with one another is something that I would enjoy (especially from a women's match), the stiff moves were used more to spite one another than to add to the match, given that they were usually stiff throughout the ENTIRE match, where as both ladies keep the stiffness to a point with other opponents.

Obviously, the match was "good" under the recent circumstance of DS rejects making abysmal attempts at wrestling, but if this match was done back in 2002-2004, any women's wrestling fan would be shiting all over it.

Yeah, but like I said, I'd expect that from the DS rejects, not "wrestlers" like Mickie and Melina.

Edit: And that These to just kept going for the hair the majority of the time, while doing a few wrestling moves in between didn't help either.

It was really crappy.

Yeah, sorry, Mickie has sucked as a wrestler even since she joined WWE. I've never seen any of her other work, but all I heard were good things. Even when she has matches against Trish, Vickie, or Melina, girls who can also work, she sucks. She's easy to look at aaaaaaaaaand, that's it.

Yup, Melina has made public declarations of her dislike for Mickie.

I guess their legit heat against each other overrode their ability to be professionals.

I noticed a lot more catfighting than usual in this match, but I thought that was intentional. I thought after last week's backstage brawl, they are trying to go the route of "this isn't gonna be a match, this is gonna be a fight".

I don't see that much in Mickie it was her gimmick and not her wrestling style that has gotten her over. Alot of people could almost in a way kinda idetify with her character because almost every red blooded male had or in my case still has a crush on Trish. Mickie's wrestling ability is only sub-par in the WWE. I liked her alot better during her Woman's Extreme Wrestling days.

the match wasn't that bad. i thought it was pretty entertaining really. last week's match with melina vs. maria...now that was just awful.

mickie has been a decent champion for what she has to work with i think. victoria's ok, but i always thought melina was a waste of space really.

Have you guys seen any other woman's wrestling? It always looks stiff and nasty, you feel sorry for the girls sometimes. Especially if the girls know how to work.

Even some of Moolahs 80's stuff is stiff looking.

I actually liked the match. They don't get along, and that made for one of the most violent women's matches I've ever seen in the WWE. But there were quite a few moves being used by them last night. No doubt they were intentionally fighting. They hate each other. But they're tough(as well as great looking. ;D), too. Both of them. It seemed more shoot than other women's "brawls," but I'm not complaining. It was a solid match.

i don't care what you say... so they played stiff. kurt angle is stiff. he's unprofessional then. joe can go stiff. he's unprofessional. kobashi is stiff and he's unprofessional. who really cares man... i enjoyed the match surprisingly. they can all deal with their problems off screen.

I also enjoyed the match aswell. They worked hard and gave a realistic, fast-paced match. Although sloppy at times, I thought it was good.
