Inside Wrestling ranks the WrestleManias

In the recent issue of Inside Wrestling (a double issue with the Wrestler) they offer up a "capsule" of WrestleMania I through 22, and rank them. The Rankings:

3. XII
4. IX
5. 21
6. X
7. IV
8. II

10. XIII
11. 2000
12. VII
13. XX
14. X-7
15. XI
16. VIII
17. VI
18. 1

20. 22

22. XV

I think these rankings are atrocious at the very least. I know these are kayfabe mags, but lets get real here. Discuss.

PWI should only publish the Wrestling Almanac and the PWI 500. Other than those two things, everything they do is pretty worthless.

I agree with the number one pick and thats it. I say lets just ignore this list it deligtimized itself by puttingX-7 number 14 and IX number 4! Do I need to go into why that is in the top twenty of horrible PPV's? No, we know how bad it is and lets leave it at that.

Thing I hate most about these lists is they never provide a reason for what they chose.

It's my opinion that I can't respect a top ___ list of _____ without any specific reasoning behind it.

The bottom would include: 2, 9, 11, 13, 15

Middle: 1, 4, 5, 7, 12, 14, 16, 18, 19, 21, 22

Top: 3, 6, 8, 10, 17, 20

I can't believe that XX isn't in the top ten. I have a harder time believing that people here aren't rioting in the streets over it.

I'm happy with XIX being in the top ten, though. That was good...I know I know, it wasn't as good as 17, nothing ever will be, blah blah blah...

I realize WrestleMania III had the largest attendance, and it had Steamboat/Savage and Hogan/Andre. But what else was on that card that made it so great? Or was that all they needed?
