Who the f*** ranked this? X-7 not in the top 3 at least is a crime. Eh, whatever. Hell I don't think Wrestlemania IX was bad but someone thinks it's the #4 Wrestlemania of all time?

If this is kayfabe VI should be much higher. This doesn't make sense in any form of logic, kayfabe or otherwise.

Okay, time to do an alternate list. From worst to first:
22) WM11: Because when you think Wrestlemania, you think the Hartford Civic Center.
21) WM13: The only reason it's not last is because of Bret/Austin.
20) WM2: Having 3 different venues was a good idea on paper. The reality was quite different.
19) WM21: Crowd was pretty much dead. No matches really stood out. And it brought us the Cena/Batista Age.
18) WM16: The lack of singles matches hurt this one.
17) WM4: Decent card, and the tournament was interesting but too many matches in too little time with too many screwy finishes.
16) WM12: Bret/Shawn Ironman was classic, but it only left the room for 4 generic undercard matches and 2 Free For All's with one being a comedy skit.
15) WM9: Not as bad as it's made out to be, but nothing really memorable. Better known for the awesome outdoor venue and Roman theme than for anything in the ring.
14) WM20: Great main events and a wonderful anniversary feel in the Garden, but an underwhelming undercard. It also produced Lesnar/Goldberg and one of the worst Diva matches I have ever seen.
13) WM22: I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Triple Threat, MITB, and Edge/Foley ruled, and seeing the crowd turn on Cena was fun. A horrible Diva tag match wasn't enough to spoil it.
12) WM15: A very good Attitude-era show, with Austin/Rock symbolizing the times. A little disappointing compared to the previous year, but still a fun show.
11) WM5: Hogan/Savage may have been the best match Hulk ever had. He tied Sammartino as the only other 2-time champ, plus a fun undercard with Rude winning the IC title from Warrior, Demolition beating the Powers of Pain, Jake beating Andre, and a nice little Hennig/Owen (as the Blazer) match.
10) WM19: Outdoor shows are always fun. Great title matches with Brock/Angle and HHH/Booker. Hogan/Vince was exciting, especially with the unexpected Piper return. Matt and Rey put on a good match for the Cruiserweight Title. Shawn/Jericho was really good, with the second half of the match nearly perfect.
9) WM10: Great 10-year anniversary, with two ***** classics with Bret/Owen and Razor/Shawn. Bret of course comes back and wins the title for the second time against Yokozuna. Some of the other matches, however, were a little rushed.
8) WM1: I know, the card itself isn't anything to write home about, but the WWF was in the process of building its roster, and this event was critical in allowing it to do so. Others previously mentioned were better, but for historical purposes, it needs to be higher.
7) WM7: I am biased since this was my first Mania, and the first time is always special. Still, you had Hogan surpass Sammartino as the first 3-time champ, Warrior in maybe his best match against Savage, the final curtain for the Hart Foundation before Bret's singles run, and the blowoff to the awesome Jake/Martel feud with the Blindfold Match.
6) WM18: The last Mania under the WWF name, and the last before the roster split. Hogan made his Mania return after 9 years, and the fans showed that Hulkamania will never die. Great HHH/Jericho title match, RVD wins his first IC title from Regal, Stone Cold/Scott Hall, Flair/Taker, and the fun and funny Hardcore Title changes.
5) WM17: Top to bottom, probably the most solid card in Mania history. Austin/Rock for the World Title, Jericho/Regal for the IC, TLC II, Eddie/Test for the Euro Title, Angle/Benoit, Vince/Shane, Taker/HHH, and, of course, Sheik humbles 18 other past superstars to win the Gimmick Battle Royal.
4) WM14: The Attitude Era officially begun with this show. Austin beats HBK to step into the spotlight for the next 3 years. HHH/Owen for the Euro Title. Taker and Kane meet for the first time. LOD shocks the world winning the tag team battle royal. Rock/Shamrock was entertaining. Foley and Funk are tag champs for a night.
3) WM6: Hogan/Warrior Title for Title. The fans split over them, and kept the intensity up the whole way through. Hogan was never great in the ring and Warrior was downright awful, but they played off the fans' electricity and delivered on a great match that saw Hogan pass the torch (for a while, at least). Also on this card was Andre's face turn, Demolition's 3rd tag title win, Jake/DiBiase, Rockers/Orient Express, Beefcake ending Hennig's undefeated streak, and Bossman going over his former partner, Akeem.
2) WM3: The most storied Mania, with 2 of the most storied matches ever. The first was Hogan/Andre, with the bodyslam heard round the world. Nobody cared about the formula of Hogan overcoming the odds back then. We all wanted him to. Then there was Savage/Steamboat, arguably the greatest IC match of all time. Beefcake left the Dream Team and turned face. One match later, he was The Barber, as he cut Adrian Adonis' hair after Piper's "retirement." And just as big a star was the Silverdome itself, with its 93,000 fans all screaming in unison for Hogan to overcome his greatest challenge ever.
1) WM8: Yes, it had an incredible Savage/Flair World Title Match. Yes, it had an incredible Bret/Piper IC match. Yes, it was Hogan's "retirement." Yes, we got the surprise return of the Ultimate Warrior. Yes, there was a changing of the guard, as top superstars of the 90's Shawn, Taker, and Bret went over top superstars of the 80's Tito, Jake, and Piper. Yes, it was really the first time they went all-out dressing up the entrance area with the lit-up curtain entrance and pyro after the double main event. Yes, what was then called the Indianapolis Hoosierdome was filled nearly to capacity with 60,000 wild fans. However, what really made this card stand out was the best commentary duel of all time between Bobby Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon. From his opening comment about Arriba McIntyre to debating whether he was cheap or thrifty, Heenan had the best night of his career. And Monsoon was straight man extraordinaire.

I realize WrestleMania III had the largest attendance, and it had Steamboat/Savage and Hogan/Andre. But what else was on that card that made it so great? Or was that all they needed? In some cases it was all they needed, but they also had a heavily hyped undercard. Piper/Adonis, JYD/Race, Bulldogs-Santana/Harts-Davis, Jake/Honky, etc, was a very good undercard to go along with Hogan/Andre and Savage/Steamboat. They weren't 5-star classics, but they didn't need to be, and weren't intended to be. I'd definitely rank WM III as the best.

The Correct list should be as followed (From Best to Worst) 1) Wrestlemania 17- Amazing Undercard, Electric environment, fantastic main event putting the two biggest stars of this era together. Plus the heal turn 2) Wrestlemania 3- Piper vs Adonis Hogan Andre Savage Steamboat. Plus a great crowd 3)Wrestlemania 18- Great Canadian Crowd plus pretty much every major star from 1996 to the date of Mania 18 were involved(Minus Savage, HBK, Hart) 4) Mania 5- I loved this one, solid undercard and an Electric Main Event 5) Wrestlemania 22- In a far way exceeded all expectations. The main event was one of a kind never seen before in a wrestlemania. Great MITB match to go along with Foley Edge. AWESOME AWESOME CROWD 6) Wrestlemania 6- Top to bottom one of the best cards to go along with a memorable face vs face main event 7) Mania 8- Savage vs Flair was good, but in the middle of the card and the main event wasnt great. 8) Wrestlemania 20- A solid card, nothing spectacular, but an awesome feel to the night really helped this card. 9) Wrestlemania 16- The whole roster was featured on this card and is the first time that happened in YEARS. And was also the first time that everyone on the roster was actually over in their respective roles. 10) Wrestlemania 19- Maybe the best Rock Austin match, Y2J HBK in Hbk's return to Mania, A great Main event...what more can you ask for? 11) Wrestlemania 10- I hate the guy but Bret put on a 5 star match with Owen that is one for the ages. HBK Razor Ladder Match was great for its time as well. 12) Wrestlemania 14- All that needs to be said is the birth of wrestling as we know it started on that day when Austin's first reign as champ began. 13) Wrestlemania 1- Just cause it's wrestlemania 1. Wasnt good, but if not for 1, there would never be a 17.... My memory from the card is Bundy squashing SD Jones. 14) Wrestlemania 15- One of the worst undercards ever, saved by a fantastic main event.... 15) Wrestlemania 21- Angle HBK was great, MITB1 rocked....crowd seemed dead but a decent main event following a great buildup made this card decent. 16) Wrestlemania 13- I love the Chicago crowd!! They let you know whats going on. Bret vs Austin was a top 3 all time mania match..... Undertaker's first Mania main event....a fun brawl between LOD(God were they over) vs NOD. 17) Wrestlemania 9- Hated the entire main event. Money INC VS Hogan and Beefcake was cool, Doink ended Crush's unbeaten streak, a decent Tatanka vs HBK match...something just seemed missing during this Mania. 18)Wrestlemania 7- Yuck...At least Savage and Warrior came with their A games. 19) Wrestlemania 4- Sooooooooo boring, but did give us Hulk Andre and a new Champ. The entire card was featured here as well but unlike 16, were not all over which provided up with some sleepers. Maybe the worst crowd in Mania History. 20) Wrestlemania 2) Bundy vs Hogan wasnt actually bad and the Bulldogs wrestled the Dream Team in a really good main event in one of the cities but this card just plain stunk. 21)Wrestlemania 12- Solid action the backlot brawl, good Taker vs Big Daddy Cool match but those two arent even anything memorable. Why do people like the Ironman Match? It was literally 50 minutes of restholds and going thru the motions and 15 minutes of action. The crowd was DEAD. 22) Wrestlemania 11- Easily the worst ever. Bam Bam Lt Main event? Are you kidding me!?!? Bret vs Backlund was very good but thats it....

I really think that having XIX that low on the list is insulting. Especially when you have IX and XI so high. Although, I do agree with having XV in last place.
You had every star you could ask for working at Wrestlemania XIX. Such a great card from top to bottom..
The only problem with XIX was having Undertaker booked in such a crappy match. Other than that, it was stellar.

Am I the only one who remembers more about the earlier WrestleMania's (1 through 14) than the later ones (15-23)? I'm baffled at some of the matches in the later ones because I honestly don't remember the build-up for them. Well, I didn't care much for the Attitude Era, so maybe that's it, but I'm generally good with remembering the matches.
Oh well.

The fact that Wrestlemania is at #4 in a ranking of TOP Wrestlemania's ever disqualifies this Poll as credible.
