Internet rumors about Carlito's laziness have been making rounds for a few months. Now it looks like they are going to make an angle out of it. Why does Batista get off the hook? Was it because he was injured. Batista was never a wrestler that a fan would confuse with a technically sound big man like Chris Masters . However, he use to try to make up for technique with effort. I use to give him props once I heard he had asthma. Now his effort in the ring and on the mic is horrible and someone has had to notice.

I would mark out if Regal confronted Batista backstage. xD

Because they're not gonna punk out the World Heavyweight Champion, regardless of how much he deserves it.
Plus, I think there's also an expectation on Carlito that there isn't on Botchtista; Carlito's of a proper size that he should be able to turn it on and be athletic like a Chris Benoit or a Shawn Michaels. Metrosexual Man just doesn't have that in him, and they don't expect it of him.
Jed Shaffer ~WWE Creative calling out Carlito for being lazy. Pot, meet kettle. I think you two have something in common.

Carlito is a midcarder, plus there isnt really anyone on smackdown that could do a good work shoot on Bats. The closest thing would be Edge complaining about the Summerslam poster..
"Of course Smackdown's Batista had to be on the poster. Take a good look because he might injure himself again."

Batista did already, in a way by John Cena a month or so ago on Smackdown as he said that he lost his intensity or got soft, something like that, before Armageddon.

In kayfabe mode, nobody's crazy enough to openly lash out at the Champion, moreso if he's 300+ pounds.
In business terms, it'd be plain foolish exposing the man you picked as Champion....

Cena did though, not in a hurtful way, but it was meant to motivate Batista. He said the rumor going around was that he lost his fire and intensity or something like that.

That'd be great, but then that makes WWE look foolish for giving him the belt in the first place.
I call a loss to Taker at WM, then they release Batista. Simple as that.

Batista is the World Heavyweight Champion. It wouldn't be wise for WWE to call one of its World Champions lazy. It would hurt their business because no one will put down their money to see a lazy World Champion and their crediblity because it will show that they made a lazy oaf a World Champion.

I think Batista's popularity just surprised WWE. I don't think anyone was really expecting it.
If I remember correctly it started in the buildup to Survivor Series 04 when the stipulations were the winning team would be GM of Raw for the next 4 weeks. After Triple H got pissed at Snitsky and Edge for saying that they'd book themselves in title matches, unlike Batista. And then Batista just stared at the title.

It's looking very likely he'll be jobbing big time to Taker. That would be a pretty clear message.
I just hope they have him job clean to Kennedy on the way out, maybe at GAB (fat chance, are non-monster heels allowed to win clean anymore?).

Look people Carlito is 28 and Batista is 40. That says it all. Carlito should be putting more of an effort since he has a bigger future and WWE wants to make him a main eventer badly. While Batista is a main eventer but he has a very short future. So i'd rather them punk out Carlito than batista.

Right. They're trying to milk every main event they can out of Batista while there's still time. Critics would say that his time should've already run out, but the main eventers of the future (Kennedy, Orton, Punk, Carlito, Shelton) are still "developing" at least in the company's eyes.

Why would a guy who walks for miles inside a pit of danger, ALONE I might add, need to be called out?
