I know you all remember this. Jarrett is this Country singer-wannabe and claims to be the "Worlds greatest singer, worlds greatest entertainer, and worlds greatest wrestler". He cuts a record(kayfabe), it goes gold(he receives a gold record at the December IYH '95), then he leaves the WWF shortly thereafter and the WWF does a program to turn The Roadie face as the Real JJ and the one who actually sang the song Baby Tonight and show the IYH performance where it was quite obvious that Jarrett is lipsyinching and pretty much crap all over the now departed Jeff Jarrett.
A couple of years later, we all find out that Jarrett is coing back to the WWF and Jarrett does a "shoot" interview with J.R. going off about certain stuff like Austin's "blasphemous" catchphrase(and zero subsequent program) and he also, if I remember(if someone has a link to the interview please put it up) he craps all over that gimmick he had when last in the WWF and when he re-debut's he has that Aztec get up and is soon in a program with Jim Cornett in the 'rasslin vs. wrestling thing and is given the Norther Heritage Championship or something like that and feuds with...nobody in particular.
After a while he brings in Tennessee Lee and is back to the "Worlds greatest singer, worlds greatest entertainer, and worlds greatest wrestler". WTF?! And the smarks all of a sudden forget the Real JJ stuff and the lipsynching stuff...which he does once again while "singing" with Sawyer Brown. Was this just another in a long line of McMahon thinking we're all stupid or was this explained away and I just simply(and thankfully) forgot?
