I do seem to remember that. Was this during the WWE New York period?
Listen, if Hooters opens a hotel and casino, then the WWE could do it.

As far as football leagues go, the WFL made the XFL look first-class.
One thing that can be brought into the Vince/Trump storyline was that Trump owned the New Jersey Generals of the USFL. He was the one who moved to push the schedule into the fall and compete head to head with the NFL, which of course doomed the league.
EDIT: I remember news shows covering the WWF's popularity, and mentioning this casino. With WWF New York/The World failing as bad as it did, I can't imagine this lasting even if it did get off the ground.

I'd buy it but I wasted all my money on a rare Guns N' Roses Appetite for Destruction record.

Didn't WCW have something like this in Las Vegas? Not a casino, but some kind of restaurant.

I went there a few times too, I drew the line though when I got a dirty gunk covered spoon with my desert.

Speaking of WCW in the Six Flags theme park in NJ there's a ride called "The Nitro" and originally it was going to be a WCW ride, but they went out of business before the ride opened but the ride kept the name.

So, would it have statues of WWF superstars everywhere, ala Cesar's palace?
