Who cares if Hogan still gets the biggest pop of the night? That's actually another reason to keep him away from the event. Current main eventers have already limited credibility, the last thing they need is having a popular has-been stealing their (little) thunder. We've been having more than enough nostalgia in recent years. Old "Stars" need to gently fade away at one point, in order to let the new generation get over. Instead WWE and the fans are living in the (recent, and not-so-recent) past, hoping to recapture the magic of what had been. And it's not working.... Before the older stars can leave the new stars have to be able to carry the ball. Noe of them draw, none of them have any credibility, and none of them seem to truly love the sport. I can see everyone of them walking off tomarrow and never look back. Untill stars come alone that can carry the sport, we need the old guys to stick around. If the young guys were pulling in fans then the older guys would be able to fade away. The new stars must first be found.

Yes but it depends who he's facing Hogan vs another Legend: YES How about this: 20 years after ending Andre the Giant's undefeated streak, HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN tries to end the Undertakers WrestleMania streak.

No thanks. Instead of feeding the massive red and yellow ego that is Hogan, let two young guys get a turn on the biggest stage in the world.

How about giving a young guy the rub by beating Hogan? New beating old is the only legit way to pass the torch.
Jed Shaffer ~Of course, WWE would pick Cena or Batista for this honor, thus killing the purpose of it.

I wouldn't mind Cena/Hogan, it wouldn't measure up to Rock/Hogan at all, but for this day and age it'd be huge. It's not like we have many big dream matches left anyways.

It'd be fine, and it'd be one of the few times I'd ever cheer for John Cena.

How about giving a young guy the rub by beating Hogan? New beating old is the only legit way to pass the torch. That has been tried several times and has always failed. Fans don't want to see HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN lose. When he does, they leave angry and that in turn hurts the other guys popularity with the fans. But whenever HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN wins the fans leave happy and they are more likely to want to watch the other guy again.

The results of this poll will be as predictable as going to a KKK fanside messageboard and asking "Was Martin Luther King a great American?" WHAT?!

Yes. It isn't Wrestlemania without Hogan. I don't care if he's in a match. Even if he is, I'd prefer to see him win. Even if it's against an IWC poster child such as Punk or Benoit, the 1980s mark in me wants to see them squashed to hell and back. Wrestlemania = Hogan win. Take that, internet.

Nope. I've said it a few times, I wish the Hall of Fame woulda been his ride into the sunset as far as wrestling. And this is coming from a guy who was back in the day a HUUUGE Hulkamaniac. Hell watching him slam Andre live on Closed Circuit big screen is one of my favorite memories. But I've seen it. I've got the dvds, I can pop them in and enjoy him at his prime.

Hulk Hogan has to be at WrestleMania. The 20th anniversary of his match with Andre in the same state it happened in. I can maybe see Hogan facing The Great Khali this year.

Well, they seem to be priming Khali to be a major threat. So it's very likely that he will be facing HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN at WrestleMania.
NOTE: If he is being primed to face HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN, look for him to make a major impact on the Royal Rumble.

I'm not a huge Hogan fan. I started seriously watching wrestling in 1994, and I always felt his true prime was as a heel in WCW. These days, I whine about his workrate and I felt beating Orton was at best unnecessary.
But when you really think about it, Orton-Hogan was not a deathblow to Orton. Sure, he needed a few quickie wins over Carlito, but he's already back in the near-main event picture. So Orton-Hogan was basically non-storyline, like a comic book issue focusing on "alternate timelines."
The truth is, Hogan's impact on the business warrants him a match or two each year, and the buyrates for Hogan-Michaels are proof.
As long as he doesn't eat too much TV time in the weeks prior, and stays healthy, I say let him wrestle. Remember, its Wrestlemania, not SummerSlam, so he can lose...
