So does this mean that these 2 will have a match at WM? I was thinking they'd have a 4 way match with Cena/HBK, but now that leaves these guys out of the main event picture. I wonder if they'll have one turn face, but i think both are much better at playing the heel role. But with seeing that both title matches are face vs. face i guess why not have a heel vs. heel.
Plus if this match does happen, who do you think goes over? I'd say Orton, because he seems more likely for a title shot after Mania. Thoughts?

This is the most "blur the lines" wrestlemania ever.
Taker vs Batista Cena vs HBK
and probably... Edge vs Orton Flair vs Carlito

I would think someone would turn face after by Backlash as a result of the match

I would think someone would turn face after by Backlash as a result of the match And the winner of the 2007 face turn is: Edge! I just feel it. He works the mic better and the crowd would pop if he were a face again.

I could definitely see them being added to the title match somehow at some point, but I'd really like to see them fight one on one, heel vs. heel. I hope they just leave the title match HBK/Cena.

.....but now that leaves these guys out of the main event picture. Shawn Michaels was involved in something that did that to these two guys??? I'm absolutely shocked. That doesn't sound like anything he'd do at all.

He works the mic better and the crowd would pop if he were a face again. Agreed. Edge was massively over as a face before his neck surgery. Now that he's transitioned into a full-blown main eventer, a face turn could only make him more popular.

I hate the devil, this post has nothing to do with that.
With that said, I wanted this match to happen before wanting this match to happen was cool. I think these two work great together, and ever sence Vengeance 2004, which I was there live, I've wanted these two to have another match at a Wrestlemania. I would pick Edge to win though, because of his Wrestlemania undefeated streak and all.
If Undertaker stays undefeated at wrestlemania after this year's extravaganza, then It would be a perfect thing to do next year to have a 'Taker/Edge streak vs streak match at Wrestlemania 24.

This feud can really get jump started next week if Edge says to Orton, "Orton--I don't like you."

I coulda sworn Edge got booed as a face in his own hometown.. Plus the Rated R character doesn't really work with a face role

I feel Edge will turn, but Cena will turn heel soon and later in the year they do Edge vs Cena again but it would be diffrent since Cena wouldn't be that supercena rapping marine, he would be something similar to his Dr. of Thuganomics mixed with his current charchter and Edge would would be the face that dosen't care that he's a face gimmick so it would be good.

If this happens, I predict Edge will win. He's the one with the streak.

I would pick Edge to win as well, but there's no way anyone could convince me that it'd be best to turn him babyface beforehand. This guy's been the best heel they've had in the last 5 years. turning him babyface would only kill his momentum. Because he's been such a good heel, when you turn him babyface, there's still going to be a very sizeable contingent that won't like him. Once that happens his heat (negative or positive) is dead. Then they'll just say, "Oh Well, Edge couldn't get over. Let's give the push to Shawn Michaels." Come to think of it......... that sounds exactly like what they'll do.

Thats what there doing now anyway! I don't get it! I would rather have Edge vs Orton as the Main Event at WM for the WWE Title than Cena vs HBK! Really that match makes more sense, I can't think of reason why Cena and HBK would be feuding at all, unless Cena turns heel, thats the only way it makes sense.

It makes no sense to break up Edge and Orton before Triple H comes back. Shouldn't Triple H's first big program back be against Rated RKO the team that took him out.

Just ask Jericho how his career turned out. Also, if Shawn Michaels can beat Rated RKO by himself,.....every week,.....for the last month,.....why would you have any desire to see Triple H do the same?

I think its just going to simply be heel vs. heel, but if I were to turn one face, I'd turn Orton. Edge is a better heel than Orton, and hopefully the WWE learned its lesson from the car crash known as Edge's 2004 face run.
