One thing that I thought hurt Mania last year was there weren't any surprises. You had what was advertised on the card, and there wasn't anything else beyond that. In the end, it felt more like a second Summerslam than Wrestlemania.
The year before you had Eugene coming out and getting attacked before Hogan saves him, and in previous years there have been other similar things that you didn't know were coming.
Do you think they'll be any added extra segments/matches this year? If so what?

Well, last year we had Goldust and Ted DiBiase appearing backstage. But this year's Wrestlemania looks sort of unappealing, so a surprise would definitely be welcome.

That's true, but in the end about half the PPVs have a quick backstage segment that you didn't know was coming.
I'm more referring to something that takes place live in the ring, whatever it might be.

I find the best surprise is when someone wins that you weren't expecting to win.

A foriegn heel, two actualy, were picking on an old school wrestlng fan with the mind of a child.......That has Hogan written all over it. I even tried to get a Hogan chant going in the bar where I was watching WM...didn't take. I think I ruined the surprise for everyone by doing it when he finally came out.

I enjoyed the Wrestlemaina 18 when the Hardcore title was constantly changing hands through the duration of the show:
Maven , Spike Dudley, Hurricane, Molly Holly , Christian and then back to Maven.
Christian slapping the door in Mollys face was brutal.

My favorite WrestleMania surprise ever was Michaels showing up at WrestleMania XV. I used to be an HBK mark before he got old.

I don't like in-ring segments at a Wrestlemania that aren't matches. At least not now that WWE doesn't have their PPVs be super duper long.

I just was reminded of my favorite.....
WrestleMania 6. Steve Allen is in the locker room, to help the Bolveshiks with their national anthem. Allen plays "Pop Goes the Weasel" and Boris screams "you play the opponents national anthem!!"
For some reason, him thinking the Canadian national anthem was Pop Goes the Weasel is just too funny.

yep. SCSA will be there. If things go as whispered, HHH might even make an appearance which could be a "big" surprise. Think heel turn....

But this year's Wrestlemania looks sort of unappealing, so a surprise would definitely be welcome. BUH-WHAAAAAA?Seriously, WWE is giving us Batista vs. Undertaker and Michaels vs. Cena. HOW IS THAT UNAPPEALING? I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for WrestleMania. Oh well, diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks.

Last year I couldnt vare less, the whole card just felt thrown together. This year actually FEELS like a Wrestlemania.

Bret will cost HBK the match. If that actually ever happened, I would go to Africa and let myself be trampled by raging elephants, because I know that life could never get better. Basically the synopsis of my story is: I miss Bret.

I doubt the sequel ladder match will be as good. The main event, I could care less unless it was on free TV.

I would so mark for Marty Jannetty to be involved in the WWE Title Match one way or another: as guest ref, HBK's cornerman, new member of DX, turns on HBK to turn heel (well, maybe not, Heel Marty sucked), take your pick.
