Unless things change, for the first time in history, a main event, title match at wrestlemania, will be fought between the co-holders of the tag team championship. I find that an interesting stat, and think it could make for a good angle leading into the big event. When you consider the fact that they are both playing faces, i can also see mcmahon forcing them to defend their belt in the weeks leading up to mania. which will be a fresh way of promoting the main event, and make the tension between the two greatly heightened.
Anyone else looking forward to how this plays out?

They should let the World's Greatest win the titles after Cena and HBK cannot cooperate.
They can use that as a way of creating further hostility.
Although since the titles have been so devalued and neither HBK and Cena have shown any interest or pride in holding them, it seems odd that either would be upset at losing the titles. But hey, that's what the tag team titles are worth these days it seems. Giving those guys the titles made no sense whatsoever.
It was an example of "impulse booking" made on the night of the show with no forethought or long term plan.

Wherin London, Kash, Kendrick, and Noble fought for no. 1 contendership to the Cruiserweight Title. London won the match, thus becoming no. 1 contender. Then I think Helms broke his nose and they also decided to push Londrick for the belts at around the same time. Still, London's techincally no. 1 contender. |
