Me and my friends are planning on making a weekend of wrestling for Wrestlemania weekend, including the 3/30 ROH show and the Hall of Fame ceremony, but I just had a few quick questions about the Hall of Fame Ceremony...
#1) Have you been to one?
#2) How much did it cost? (Was there varying price levels?)
#3) What's the atmosphere like?
#4) About how long did the whole thing take?
#5) Is there any other details I should keep in mind?
Thanks ahead of time.

1) Have you been to one?
Yes
#2) How much did it cost? (Was there varying price levels?)
I believe it was around $200 per person. General admission (IE, one ticket price. This was in 2004 for WM 20)
#3) What's the atmosphere like?
Well behaved marks. It wasnt snooty. It IS formal dress (shirt/tie for the guys, dresses for the ladies) but people were generally laid back
#4) About how long did the whole thing take?
A few hours. Blackjack Whoever's (I forget if it was Lanza or Mulligan) drunken spiel stretched it out far longer than it shoulda been
#5) Is there any other details I should keep in mind?
If you think you'll meet all the HoFers, dont. They were telling us in attendance that we would in 2004, but of the entire inducted "class", only Greg Valentine came out to sign autographs afterwards, and only for about 20 minutes before security started shooing us off (Tom Pritchard tried to make me leave when I was the next person in line to meet Greg, I just laughed at him and said "Whatever you say, Zip.")
ALSO don't be fooled by the promises of dinner and an open bar, if they're still saying that. We got pigs in a blanket and a cheese tray, and a bartender who didn't know how to make a Long Island Iced Tea.
In NEW YORK.

F*** that, I only paid $100 for my Wrestlemania ticket... Meh... Thanks for the info... I think I might just go to the second ROH show too...

Meeting them is what I really want out of it. Some of these guys you might never see again.

When I went to the Hall of Fame in LA a few years ago... there was no real meet and greet, nor a dinner. Some of the guys did stay afterwards and shake the kids hands though...
Best part of the night was the Sheiks mumbling tirades and the pop for Hogan. That was awesome.

I remember hearing an advertisment for the HoF this year, and it sounds like tickets will be a lot cheaper, I might be wrong but 100 dollars for lower level seating, and 30 dollar for nosebleed seats, there will be 4,000 tickets for the public, as the Fox Theatre is HUGE.
Cool to go to, but I think ROH will be better instead, then at least you can see Bruno.

I'd go to the ROH show if I were you. You'll have a good night of wrestling, plus you'll be supporting a company that needs the cash more than WWE.
