three words....MATT f***ING HARDY
I think he could come and get a huge babyface push, and he has that "extreme" attitude...he's so over....bring him in and feud him with lashley...although i would mind him as a heel to feud with rvd, sabu, and punk

heres a way to start saving ecw, how bout a chair shot once in a while. new "ecw" is so bad that if i were paul heymen i would die just to roll over in my grave, even when they have their big matches they are so tame it makes a mockery of everyone that ever did anything for that company in the glory days, seriously test/lashley ended in a countout, whats extreme about that? the only way to get that place turned round is to base the whole show on the originals beating the ever loving crap out of the new guys, but even then, i won't be watching!

Make every match extreme rules. And put the body builders on the other brands.

I would love to go through ECW if I had the chance.
First, I'd boot a couple of people.
-La Resistence: Come on. How many tag teams are in ECW to begin with, really. -Test: He's improved, but needs to do something else. -Rebecca: The black hole of charisma needs to go somewhere else at least
The matches would have the old ECW style. The thing about that style is there were actual rules, well, sort of. Before in ECW, you won by pinfall, submission and disqualification. DQ's occured rarely, but usually happened when ridiculous choas insued. I think that what they're trying to do is bring some rules and structure to the matches, which is understandable. If you can't get disqualified for using a chair, then why break on 5 on the ropes, or as Bryan Danielson would say, I HAVE TIL 5!!!! So use that. DQ's can happen if the ref can't gain control of the match, with too many people or whatever, if the ref has pretty much gotten the crap kicked out of him by his opponent, or if the wrestler doesn't release chokes and stuff at 5. And sometimes, they could have WWE Rules matches, which will be sanctioned under WWE rules.
Since ECW is a brand that doesn't draw that well by itself, have the ECW shows play smaller venues like before. Also, having television shows in the smaller arenas with actual ECW type fans in my opinion brings more of a good feel and excitement to the show. When they do have it in a big arena like for Smackdown for a super show or whatever, they should go back to the old look of the show with the lights dimmed and everything. I heard that was Vince McMahon's idea, but then again, if there's a good idea in wrestling, everybody takes credit. But I heard this was Vince's, and it was a good one. It really did give a good feel to the show. I actually remember ECW's second show after the debut disaster, it was actually really good, and as close to the old ECW as the WWE was gonna get at that time.
A lot of the ECW guys are good mic workers I feel, well, with the exception of Bobby Lashley. Use that. Instead of having Rebecca interview them, have them cut backstage promos. Before Rebecca showed up, they were actually doing this, and it was really good. If there needs to be contact with somebody, have them yell at some random person. Hardcore Holly did it when he debuted, and it was great.
Bring in some originals. And also, the idea of Matt Hardy coming in is a good one. I was watching his shoot, and the Angelic Diablo character that he was gonna do on the indys, he was actually gonna do that on WWE television and come back as that. The concept sounds pretty cool too. Plus if Heyman has the book, Hardy will be pushed to the moon, as Heyman is a huge fan of his.
Oh, also, Heyman back as the booker.

I'd like to see Matt Hardy in ECW. He's consistently over (despite being buried for a while) and is a good in-ring worker.

Incidentally, I'd remove the following wrestlers from ECW: Bobby Lashley, Test, Hardcore Holly, Brooke, Kelly, Layla, Striker, La Resistance, and Rebecca.
I'd add the following wrestlers to ECW: Kennedy, Matt Hardy, Nick Dinsmore, Boris Alexiev, Maria, Super Crazy, 2 Cold Scorpio, and Joey Mercury.

Personally, I think you could do something with the Trump having Lashley as his representative. Use this as a way to make Lashley at odds with Vince so he brings in a new GM who supports Vince. This new GM could be doing Vince's dirty work by making Lashley win every match he is in or he loses the title. The loss will of course come at a screwjob two weeks before Wrestlemania and the last week, this new GM will state that if an ECW superstar wins Money In The Bank, then he will be rewarded the ECW Title. Of course, if he doesnt, we will have a tournament after Wrestlemania to determine the new champion and Lashley will be blackballed out of it.

..Matt Hardy's over? Maybe in the 'Hey I think Jeffs coming' sense. Hey look, here's somebody who's either A) Lived in a cave since late 2005 or B) Doesn't watch SmackDown. Seriously, watch any match Matt has had on SmackDown or even Velocity. He is over. And there is no denial of that.

Matt Hardy is extremely over. I just don't think he's a fit for ECW.
