You have these kinds of wreslters like Lashley. The folks in the back give em titles and put em on TV and yet I feel like he or she is not over with the fans. I feel like its some person running around touching main event status and yet not putting a**ses in the seat. They don't lose the position either. The wrestling company sometimes just keeps trying to squeeze water from a rock.

I don't hate him. I rarely watch Smack Down so I'm sort of indifferent. He's never impressed me at all and if the internet says he sucks then im on board.

I never took him seriously, as when I saw him on SD the first time I just saw him as a Monty Brown copy (yeah I know they're not the same, but they tried the "REAL ex-NFL star" bit on him too)

I don't hate Lashley either. The guy has a helluva body, and definite presence. But he most definitely got pushed far too soon. His ring skills are sub-par at best, and his mic work is painful at times. Added to that, the guy hasn't really been given an established character. Right now, he is just big, scary, and green. I think a better strategy would have been to have held his debut back for a while, and kept him working in OVW to sharpen him up, and then teamed him with Monty Brown/Marcus Corvan when he debuted.
Added to that, I get annoyed with how blatantly WWE is ripping on Lesnar with him. Granted, Lesnar deserves to be ripped on, but WWE is clearly attempting to simply piss Lesnar off by pushing Lashley to the moon, as if to say "See? We can make ANYONE a bigger star than you." What Lashley really needs is his own unique identity, not that of a Lesnar clone.

The internet never decided what I thought of Lashley. Its my own personal belief that he sucks. High voice, bad booking to where he is a joke, bad promoting and YES the shirts are part of that. Those shirts suck. They say Domination on everyone of them.

I think he was trying to say we're racist despite King Booker being one of the most popular workers on here... Fact is, yes Lashley does actual wrestling moves... but he only does like 3, then the rest are shoulder blocks, watch a match and youll see this. He makes Khali look like the Rock whilst on the mic... What's there too like? Khali is very articulate, didnt he just demand "more compensation" from the coach? |

This all reminds me of when a smalltime, underground band breaks into the big time, and their core fans start crying and throw around words like "sold out", "commercial", "mainstream" and then boycott them. Very strange to me. That analogy works when you don't think about it. |

Didn't read the whole thing, but here's my 2 cents.
I don't hate him, I just hate the fact he's the ECW Champion. Not that Bobby Lashley isn't a great talent, because he is. It's just, it's not his time yet. In the future, maybe. But not now.

I think Lashley is great, he just shouldnt be on ECW! This is more of a complaint about the way they are running the brand than the wrestler, because Lashley isnt hardcore and ECW should be about extreme wrestling like back in the day. Hell I don't even mind Lashley being WHC, just get him off ECW!
