Was anyone else annoyed that Kennedy didn't win the title? I'm no Kennedy mark but he sure outshone Lashley all the way. However, the biggest problem I had with the match aside from the crappy cop out DQ finish was Lashley totally no selling the knee injury as soon as he took over on offence at the end. Kennedy worked on it solid for nearly 10 minutes and yet Lashley can execute a torture rack and then drop down to his knees and suffer no ill effects from it.
I know that when a wrestler has a body part worked on that it is necessary to use that part to do things but take a look at other guys like say Brock Lesnar who people like to compare Lashley to. When Lesnar fought Angle once he had the ankle lock put on a few times and as a result, when he went for the F5 he did the move whilst stumbling on one leg. Even after the end of the NWO match when Lashley went after him with the chair he actually ran after him and then walked out with no ill effects at all. In my view, Lashley will never be any kind of decent wrestler let alone champion till he learns things like that.

putting Kennedy on ECW would be rediculous, but the way Lashley "put him over" was really bad too. Kennedy should have a huge payoff at 'Mania for this.

Like I said on another thread, he has now out shined Batista twice in big title matches, and last night while I don't think Lashley is a bad wrestler, he out shined him as well. Not to mention Kennedy had another great promo on the show.
All three times a part of the crowd also began getting behind Kennedy. So of course instead of running with it I'm sure the brilliant people in Stamford will try and figure out how to get the fans to stop reacting in a way they don't want them to.

Lashley will beat kennedy clean on ECW this week... beacuse people payed to see the DQ but are treated to clean finishes on free TV. Gotta love WWECW. The last 2 ECW title defenses on PPV ended in a countout and a DQ. What's next? time limit expired? THAT way we get to see lashly the full 10/15 minutes!!! ...arent we excited...  |

seems like Lashley is Vince's new golden boy, i wouldnt expect to see him drop the title anytime soon.
Even as someone that doesnt get the Kennedy hype I was still hoping he'd win the title at NWO. I wouldnt be surprised to see him job to Lashley on ECW in the near future. On the bright side though, I dont think a MiTB win is out of the question for him
