How long does it take to switch the backdrop from Smackdown to ECW ? It looks like they put a star curtain over the Smackdown stage. They also have to add an extra video screen and door.

I went to Smackdown/ECW a couple weeks ago. It took about 10-15 minutes if I remember correctly.

SD has blue ropes and ECW has silver.

Then they probably put silver tape over the ropes.

Nope. They take the ropes down and put on the new ones.

I remember back in the old days they would sometimes just put tape over ropes to change color.

It doesn't take long at all. I went to a Smackdown and ECW taping last Oct. I went to the bathroom and wasn't gone long. Smackdown was finished. Ten min I comeback ECW stage was set up. I was like damn that was fast. The Smackdown stage you couldn't tell it was even there.

I guess that's why they quit having the ECW guys come through the crowd? But of course since I liked the entrance through the crowd, WWE had to change it
