During the Hogan/Vince streetfight? I must say I was ABSOLUTELY THRILLED to see Roddy(even though I'm just as big a Hogan fan) but i wasn't surprised because they had him on Confidential the night before-kinda took the element of surprise away right there, because it was obviously a new interview at the time

Yea, actually, I was. Pretty cool to see him return. Now Hogan's appearance at WM21 WAS NOT a surprize.

I do remember his WM19 appearance, and me and my buddy were both totally surprised. The thing to keep in mind is that prior to WM19, he had been off TV for many years (possibly off TV even since WCW, but I could be mistaken). So to see him was really special.
Nowadays he shows up every few months. It's still cool to see him, but it's not all that surprising.

It came totally out of left field, and I never expected it. I'm sitting there with some friends watching it, and some guy with a hood comes out. Here's a basic transcript of my reaction:
"Wait, who's...PIPEEEERRRR!!!!"

He was on The Man Show during one of those "Wheel of Destiny" episodes, not too long before WM 19, I believe.

He was on tv in the weeks leading up to WM 19. He was one of the guys they had taped interviews with talking about the history between Hogan and McMahon. While I was still suprised to see him actually come out on the PPV, it wasnt a HUGE shocker to me.
