What possible good can putting the IC Title on Umaga is going to do? And, where in the blue hell did this come from?

yet another WM where the IC belt is undefended... Is it really that bad? The last 2 years the champ (Shelton) has been in MITB which guarantees a title shot, which is what the IC title used to be any way. |

yet another WM where the IC belt is undefended... It could be a lot worse. Imagine this: Instead of a "representative vs. representative" match, we get a tag team match. Umaga and McMahon versus, say, Mick Foley and Trump. And the Intercontinental Title is on the line. Through some crazy shenanigans, Trump pins Umaga, and becomes IC champ. So count your blessings. ;D |

Perhaps the IC title will be on the line. We don't even know who Trumps man will be.
Consider this: Billionaire Hair vs Hair on the line + the IC Ttile to be defended.
It motivates both wrestlers even more, Umaga will be desperate to hold on to this title, Estrada will be desperate to keep the gold and make Vince happy. Whilst's Trumps MR. X will be motivated first by Trump and 2nd for his chance to win the IC title.
Hell that would give the IC title some meaning.

It makes NO sense... besides making Umaga look more "dangerous".
It's a shame because the Hardy-Nitro feud restored a bit of credibility to the belt, and Jeff was doing well with the belt.
But of course Vince v Trump is more important than a midcard title.

I got tired of Umaga a long time ago, and keep in mind I never stopped liking the Boogeyman or the Spirit Squad, so I am pretty easily entertained via wrestling.
