Totally random question but I was thinking with the amount of fans on this board and the number of times Bret gave out a pair of shades someone here has to have gotten a personal gift from Bret.
If you have, when? Did he say anything? Did you say anything? Is it on tape?
Also, anyone get hit by a Hall toothpick? I remember at the Royal Rumble 93 he threw his toothpick at the kid Bret gave his shades too. Wouldn't that be a great double memento?

Nope, but I don't think I was even at a show where Bret handed out the shades. Although I got to touch "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan once...

I was very close once, at a house show years ago at the legendary Cow Palace here in SF, I was fortunate enough to be in the front row and Bret was like 5ft away and he looked at me and gave it to this other kid who was next to me. Needless to say I was crushed, because Bret Hart was/is my favorite wrestler of all time. I did get a high five once from Lex "I don't know" Luger.

At a house show in the old Omni in Atlanta in the very early 1990s, Bret Hart gave his shades to my sister. He was her favorite wrestler.

I had a sign at an indy show one time where headbanger thrasher was at. I had a sign that said "Thrasher Is My Hero!". He grabbed the sign from me and held it up and the whole place erupted with boos. Then the guy he was wrestling grabbed it from him and threw it in the crowd on the other side. Good Memories.

at a Raw show in '99... the one where Chyna won a spot in the Royal Rumble, and Ryan shamrock debuted
me and my little brother were sitting 3rd row ringside on the first chairs in the aisle... Edge was still making his way through the crowd and was taking off his trenchcoat and in the process elbowing my little brother in the chest...

The Sandman has come right to where im at twice before. First time was an ECW house show in like late '99 I think, he handed me his cane while he got a new 6 pack from the security guy to take to the ring, then he took the cane back and patted me on the head.
The other time was an ECW house show last September. It was a super small arena, and he came out right next to my seat. He opened his first beer and I got soaked, it was awesome.

I was at a WcW house show when Chris Jericho was still there, and I was seated pretty much right before the wrestlers walked into the ring. Jericho was still a heel then, and I had a sign that said I came to see Jericho. He looked at my sign laughed patted me on the head, and that was it. It was kind of awkward. I think it was like in 97.

In Big Poppa Pumps last WWE run at a house show at "The Aud" in Kitchener I told him he was a washed up piece of s**t and he should retire. He in turn came at me and told me to go F**k myself pretty cool.
