Undertaker is unbeaten at Wrestlemania but he's also had his fair share of DUD opponents.
WM 7 - Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka - He was barely even a lower mid carder by the time 1991 came around
WM9 - Giant Gonzales - Exactly
WM11 - King Kong Bundy - Bundy was hardly top of his game in 1995.
WM15 - Big Boss Man - Again not a man on top of his game at that stage
WM19 - A-Train (and Big Show) - Shave your back is hardly a Wrestlemania moment
WM 22 - Mark Henry - ........yeah.
So although he may be unbeaten he's only ever really beaten a handful of guys who were at the 'top' of their game, the rest were just filler matches.
Compare that with shorter WM legacies such as Warrior who has Randy Savage, HHH and Hulk Hogan under his belt.
So despite the fact that Undertaker has the longest unbeaten, who has the more IMPRESSIVE WM record when you look at who they're actually in there with?

Edge's is pretty impressive. Coming out on top in back to back Ladder/TLC matches with the Hardys and Dudleys, beating Booker T, winning the first Money in the Bank against 5 top level players, and then beating Mick Foley in a very impressive hardcore match.
All of those matches IMO are at least 4 star worthy, with the exception of Booker T at WM 18.

Undertaker's was at best an afterthought. I never heard it even mentioned until he was 7-0.

wow.. all of these years on top and he has yet to headline. I just realised that. Wrestlemania 13 against Sid. And the Bossman match was the first and so far only Wrestlemania Hell in a Cell match.

Huh, ya know what I just realized looking at an old issue of Pro Wrestling Illustrated? If you don't count the gimmick battle royal he was in, Tenta was 5-0 at WM. Weird.

Big Show has one win at mania. He lost to foley, the triple h/foley/rock, then kane and raven, then undertaker, then cena, the akebono. FINALLY he beat carlito and masters in a tag match last year.

Ultimate Warrior LOST at WM 5. So what's this legacy you're speaking of?

The only times I really thought he was going to lose it was against Diesel, Kane and Trips.

Ultimate Warrior LOST at WM 5. So what's this legacy you're speaking of? Hogan lost at WM6 and 18 yet his WM legacy is still 4000000 times greater than Undertakers. In a sport which isn't a sport saying that 'winning' at a specific event is important in terms of juding legacy is like saying that a movie star isn't great cause his character died in a movie.

I'd definitely say Taker's streak is the most impressive. He's beaten Triple H, Orton, A-Train and Big Show (handicap), Kane twice, Diesel, Sid, Jake Roberts, Snuka, Henry, and Flair. Even the less impressive victories (Giant Gonzalez, Bossman, King Kong Bundy) were matches against "hosses."

Meh, I agree at least half of Taker's "victims" at Mania weren't exactly top dogs... Snuka was at the closing stage of his WWF career, and he was a lower-midcard Jake was on his way out and already "done" Gonzalez and Bundy were big men, but still "luxury" jobbers Bossman wasn't that great either at that point in time Flair is Flair, but c'mon... A-Train + Big Show... Jobber and Jobber to the Stars Henry... Yeah right! This leaves out: Diesel, Sid, Kane (though he was a threat only at WMXIV), Triple H and Orton. So the "actual" streak IMO is more like 6-0 or 7 if I'm feeling generous giving 0.5 to Flair and 0.5 to Kane at WMXX. Bare figures aren't everything in legit sports, and are even more debatable in pro-wrestling.
