I think Cena made Cena a better worker.
But I think the feud with Edge really helped.

I think Cena always had it in him, but just didn't show it until the fans started getting on him.

Absolutely. He was such an effective heel that he got the fans backing Cena up again. Then a whole new fire lit up in Cena after winning the belt back at Unforgiven. So Edge definitely contributed to Cena becoming a better ring worker as well as working an overall feud. But the sick thing is, Cena got over even more after his feud with K-Fed. Who knew you just had to find a sadder version of Cena's character from Hollywood to get him over?

I don't think he made him a better worker, per se, as much as he accentuated Cena's strengths while hiding his weaknesses as a worker.

Cena has always been a hard working guy. And I don't really see anything different from pre-Edge to post-Edge in terms of how he wrestles. He's always pulled out extra effort in big matches, and still just gets in his signature spots on television like any other guy.

Cena went from a mixed reaction to a nealy unanimous ovation thanks to Edge's effective work as a heel.
Edge didn't make Cena a better worker, but a better face for sure.

I think it was a case of Cena being booked long-term with a guy who's become a very effective heel. There's a comfort level in that, and can only help make a younger performer better.

No, his matches with Jericho were great. It's just the fact no one wanted to see Jericho job to Cena.

Cena is a hard worker, but wasn't shown it as it was blinded by his bookings. Hate the man for the character he is playing, but I feel sorry for someone who hates the man as a worker.

Yes, I think his feud with Edge match Cena a better wrestler. Edge certainly did more for Cena than Angle or HHH. And unlike those two, he could actually get boos against Cena.
