I wish they would interact with the lower shows again and give others a chance to make it on the main event level. With the main eventers already performing on the "c" shows just like in the old days it would mean tha tthey wouldnt show up or take up ring time since they already competed. You'd think that it would make people want to watch it instead of it being scrub central.
Here are the ones I remember off the top of my head.
HHH faced Hardcore Holly on Sunday Night Heat in 2000 & Maven in 2003
Angle who was the wwf champ faced Essa Rios on Heat back in 2000
I dont remember ever seeing cena on velocity when he was champ or batista on HeAt
Are there anymore that I missed?

I'm pretty sure JBL faced someone on Velocity during his WWE title reign one time.

Heat wasn't always a C show though, back then it was about as big as Smackdown is today

Kurt Angle faced Hardcore Holly on Velocity in 2002. How do you possibly remember this? That seems so...obscure.

I liked this match. It looked like Maven had a chance at winning even though there was no way in hell he would win.

They probably gave up on main-eventers being on Heat and Velocity once both shows went to the internet. They'd likely only appear to help boost some ratings on TV.

Austin wrestled Mark Henry on Heat, back before it turned into a recap show.

I'm pretty sure JBL faced someone on Velocity during his WWE title reign one time. It was versus Shannon Moore. I know they gave a way a possible Summerslam main event on Velocity.

It wasnt "main event" caliber but I remember an episode of Heat that had a street fight between The Hollys and The APA and it was probably one of the better hardcore brawls of any of the shows during that era. I don't remember what the Hardcore Division was like around that time but I knew for Heat, during that era, it was something really entertaining and different.

I remember when HHH was on Heat that week against Maven ...there was a sign in the crowd that said, during RAW, "HEAT SPOILER: HHH WINS"...or maybe it was RAW SPOILER...either way...I remember it, lol

The first episode of Heat had Rock/Owen vs. Mankind/Kane to see who'd face Austin/Taker for the tag belts the next night on Raw.
