There is a lot of talk going around about Paul Heyman being brought back. He wouldn't be brought back to the creative team, but rather, to lead the 'ECW Originals'. People in creative are talking about booking Heyman's return to television. They might do an angle where Heyman cuts a major promo by saying that before he was ousted last December, he was simply doing what Vince McMahon was telling him to do. However, he's back and will finally stand up to Vince. He will then help lead his boys in their war with McMahon and the new breed of ECW. WWE has pretty much kept Heyman under contract to prevent him from possibly going to TNA.

When Heyman was ousted, this was how the majority people who saw him coming back, returning. It is sad that it took so long to do such an obvious storyline. I don't see this ending well though.

If I were him I would say f*** it, collect the rest of my money, and either go to TNA or just give the hell up.

Hmmmmmm, I guess it's ok. It's not as though they would listen to him if he were brought back to creative, so that isn't really an issue.
I guess, if it builds some decent storylines and interest going into WrestleMania....it's good.

Honestly, whats the big deal if he goes to TNA? I dunno, but the first time he strangles Russo, I bet the IWC would explode in the world's biggest orgasim ever.

I love Paul E. but this sounds like a waste of time, they bring him back, to cut a promo that really doesn't mean anything(like Joey Styles') and they won't let him book? I'd rather see him do a shoot interview and go to TNA

If he "just says wax it" then the WWE has ways of punishing him, like keeping him under contract but fining him his entire salary.
And staying off the road doesn't bring in pay per view bonuses. Any apperence on a PPV would get him a bonus.

If I was him, id play ball and smile sweetly until his contract looks to be over, then move too TNA or into his own firm.

Everyone assumes Heyman would go to TNA if he leaves the E. I thought I remembered people saying he was interested in working in MMA. I could be wrong, though.
At this point, I wouldn't blame him at all if he were completely burnt out on the E, and maybe wrestling in general. I mean, look what they've done with him. He booked SmackDown, and made it superior to RAW, and was even named Best Booker of the Year in certain magazines, so they quickly replace him with someone else and send him to OVW. Then, he's said to have booked the best wrestling in his entire career there, and makes OVW a really strong territory as well as training ground for the E, so the decide to promote him again to do the new ECW. And we all saw what happened there.
As cool as a his return might be, I think I'd rather Paul stayed gone. Seriously, if I could talk to him, I'd tell him to just stay away. Do whatever you want outside the E, but don't let them keep doing this to you.
(Not that my opinion matters all that much, but that's what I'd say...after I got over being star-struck, of course.)

If ECW continues to get worse would they have Heyman back and give him full control over ECW? I would doubt but I guess I wanted to just ask the question.
