I voted for X. It was in MSG, Bret and Owen, legendary ladder match, Bret getting the belt back. And I was a kid, so to see the ladder match (on ppv) was mind blowing at the time.

I voted other - WM 17 was absolutely brilliant - Rock/Austin, TLC 2, plus just a bunch of really good matches, especially Benoit vs Angle.

Am I alone in thinking that WM 15 was great? It seemed like all of the matches were built up well and made sense. And they all came to a head at "The Ragin' Climax." Plus, you can't go wrong with Rock/Austin for the first time and Austin giving it to the Corporation by getting the belt.

17's gonna win........Although, my favorite will always be #5. Like your first love in life, it will always have a special place in my heart.....first WM I ever saw, I re-watched it recently and found it a little underwhelming.....like meeting your first love after 10 years apart and she got ugly......It's not the same, but still warms your heart.

My 500th post, and I'm going to mention WrestleMania 9. Only because it was the very first WWF pay-per-view I ordered. I asked mom and she went out and got a box and everything for me, so I can't totally hate the event. It was different with it being outside and all, but it was a really weak card.
There were some firsts though, Perfect chasing Luger to the back was the first time we saw backstage action. Now it's commonplace. I was a huge Undertaker mark, so his entrance was incredible with the raven or vulture or crow. Anybody recall what that bird was? But aside from a weak card, my favorite match being The Steiners and Headshrinkers match, it wasn't awful. But then again, I was ten or so.

No love for WrestleMania IV?!
I liked the idea of the tournament, that made every match important, even these you KNEW were quite predictable.
The Macho Man walking away with the gold was an awesome moment, also thanks to Hogan's "blessing". It settled some feuds and it started new ones, and everything looked important.
As much as I have fond memories of WMX (Bret's WrestleMania Moment, the ladder match), the ending of the main event was a bit anti-climatic, and some matches were a bit meh...

17 for me, why its on your worst list thread i dont know. I ditto with this guy. You had: TLC II McMahon vs. MacMahon HHH vs. Taker Austin vs. Rock, and there are other awesome matches on that disc as well!

Wrestlemania 17 it felt like a huge even t and just was awesome in almost every way. No event has felt like that since. All the matches were excellent and entertaining from the underrated Test Guerrero Match. The start of the Benoit Angle feud, TLC II, The gimmick battle royal, and of course the Title match where Stone Cold turned heel which people froget which was shocking. Great event. Wrestlemania III is second though it also had that feeling of importance and had a big event feel but WM 17 bested it in every way.

17. from the halfway point onwards, any of the matches on the card couldve been convincing main events. plus it had the greatest match in the history of pro wrestling (in my humbled opinion) as its main event.

I have a special place in my heart for 3, 4, 5, and 6. So I'll use a cop-out answer and say it's a four way tie.
WrestleMania III because of Hogan/Andre and Savage/Steamboat.
WrestleMania IV because of Savage winning the tournament and Demolition winning their first tag titles.
WrestleMania V because of Hogan/Savage, Warrior/Rude, Jake/Andre, and Demolition/POP (sue me, I liked that feud).
WrestleMania VI because of Hogan/Warrior. Plus, I lived in Scarborough Ontario at the time, which was very close to Skydome. The anticipation for that event in my area at the time was fantastic.
Not a big fan of the Attitude Era, so I won't include WrestleMania X7 (even though I loved Austin/Rock).
