There is reportedly interest within WWE right now to bring in more Hispanic wrestlers since that is an area of growth for the WWE's current demographic popularity. Some of the names thrown out as possibilities include Shocker, Mistico and Perro Aguayo Jr. Shocker has previously worked for TNA and may have the best shot of getting signed since he worked for TNA when Dusty Rhodes was booking, who is now with WWE.
BTW i just want to note that this is credited from Wrestlezone.com and that the topic that lead me to this article was in fact named WWE intrested in Hispanics. I really just thought that was funny lol

Why can't they just use the ones they already have?

With Smackdown's biggest ratings reportedly coming from Latinos, along with Eddy and Rey's success I am surprised this didn't happen sooner.

Why not just push some of their current Hispanic wrestlers? Of the ones I can think of at this moment--Crazy, Chavo, Melina, and Rey--they could all get solid pushes right now and it be believable.

That was Psicosis, who was going to do the role before his arrest for car theft.
These guys are all supposed to be really good, especially Perro. But wasn't he a multi-time champ in Mexico/Puerto Rico in the 80's/early 90's, or am I thinking of Perro Sr.?

Well, Chavo and Rey are getting old; and they won't be in wrestling forever. They need yound talent to replace them. Plus, I'm all for new talent coming into SmackDown! and helping to rebuild the Cruiserweight Division.

Crazy is getting a push.
Carlito is in the midst of getting a push if he gets his head out of his ass.
Then Chavo is pure midcard, but that's not a bad thing.
Rey Mysterio is only 32 and I don't think he'll stop in the next 5 years.
Mistico would be awesome, but if people think Rey Mysterio is small, this guy is like the Mini Mysterio or Mysterito

Rey Mysterio is only 32 and I don't think he'll stop in the next 5 years. After all his knee surgeries, Eddie's death and, the money he has made it would not surprise me to see him gone or on very limited schedule after his contract runs up next year.

I like Shocker. He has an interesting look and is a pretty decent wrestler.
I'd also love to see Low Ki kicking in some heads.
