Next saturday I'm going to a car show in Louisville and Mickie is going to be there I'm assuming that she'll have 8x10's to sign, but I'm not exactly sure. Every time I've met a wrestler, it was for a book signing or whatever, so I'm just wondering, do wrestlers usually have something to sign that they bring with them for basic autograph signings?

I'm pretty sure she will have a photo or whatever. Most wrestlers i've met have had pics they autographed. Have a good time.

I can almost definitely see them having them. However, sometimes, especially at car shows, they will charge 5 bucks for the pic.

My brother and I went two years ago to see the Undertaker-we got there about two hours ahead of time and I swear I've never seen a line that long in my life, needless to say we didn't get to meet him, and I couldn't tell if he had anything already there to sign. At least Taker has merchandise to sign though

I once went to meet Hillbilly Jim at an autograph signing and there was absolutely nobody there. My Friend and I talked with him for more than two hours and only one person showed up. I felt so bad for the guy.
He had already stopped wrestling for nearly a year at that point. We discussed his injury. His last televised match was against Earthquake. I said they should do an angle saying that Earthquake put Jim out of wrestling so to at least get him back on TV one more time. I felt so bad for the guy.

Some charge $10 for there autographs, just depends on who it is. Usually at car shows, etc. they have stuff to sign. Bookstore signings sometimes you can bring stuff for them to sign but depends on the Bookstore etc. I know one time a bookstore I went to, to try and get Foley's autograph wouldn't let anyone bring anything in for him to sign except one of his books.

When they try to control what you get signed........that's because of the venue and the people running the signing. They either don't want long lines and lots of people waiting longer than they have to (common), or they want to control and focus on just one particular item (not as common). Mickie'll have 8x10's, of this I have no doubt. Pretty much every signing I've ever gone to (I've been to far too many, I'd say ) works just like that. They may limit it to just a signing too, so not a photo op. But often a person'll just lean over the table and you can get a picture with them like that, I see that happen often.

That's great news!! You've been waiting a long time to meet Mickie, and I'm glad you now will get to. She probably would sign anything that you brought to her. Do you still have that "MickieManiac" sign that you made for Backlash last year? You should get her to sign that!
