Think about it, multiple tag-team title reigns, massivly over, major part of DX and they definetly left their mark on tag team wrestling. Do you think that, ten years from now, Road Dogg and Mr. Ass will be Hall of Famers?

I say HELL no. 2-3 years of being over do not make Hall of Famers.

I shudder at the thought of Billy Gunn being anywhere near the HOF

I go by the rule of: "If you have to explain to me why somebody should be in the HOF, they don't deserve to be there." So a definite no there.

Sadly enough, Billy Gunn does have a claim at the HOF. He was, at one point, the record holder when it came to tag team championships. Edge has him beat as of right now, but the fact remains.

I hope not. Possibly the worst tag-team champions ever. Road Dogg had zero wrestling talent and Billy Gunn isn't much better. They were only over because the Road Dogg was good on the mic.

Even if they were, they've tarnished their own legacy.

And Billy Graham was inducted and he testified against Vince in the steroids trial.

Hmmm, I see the arguments that you are making. But it brings up a few other questions. If the New Age Outlaw's aren't deserving of the HoF, than why does everyone think a guy like John Tenta is? I'm not taking any shots here, just making a point. He only had one tag team title run, sat on a snake and had a bunch of bad gimmicks.

Honestly I say yes. Heres why...
If you look at the highest point the wrestling business ever got to, and you look at who caused it/who was on top to keep it going, you see the following: Steve Austin, The Rock, DX, nWo, Bill Goldberg.
Because of that, every one of those people are eventual Hall of Famers IMO (as much as it pains me to say Bill Goldberg is a hall of famer, you cant deny what he did and what he caused). When I say DX, I mean Triple H(obviously), X-Pac, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, and Chyna(definite HOFer on her own just because of her IC title runs and how over she was even after DX). Being at the top of the business when its at its highest point in history means you are somebody important.
I know some people are gonna say, well you said nWo, so are Buff Bagwell and Vincent HOFer's to then? No, they werent on the same level with the main players in the nWo, hell they even had a designated B TEAM! DX were all on the same level, they were all over massivley. When I say nWo, I mean Hogan(already there, so thats no issue), Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash. (The Giant, DiBiase, and Eric Bischoff as well I believe are in on their own, but they fit the nWo category as well).

Both NAO said that they would go back to the WWE if the money is right, so I doubt there's any real heat with them, I'm sure WWE knows that they're just doing what they're told to do.
And they kinda made tag team wrestling popular again and opened the door for The Hardy's, E & C, Too Cool.
And they were so over so yeah, they deserve it.

Just to add something else, why wouldnt Billy Gunn be a Hall of Famer? He's one of the greatest tag team wrestlers of all time IMO. He's had several successfull tag teams with different partners and always seemed to excel in tag team situations.

The guy sucked as a single's wrestler, but in that tag team situation, Billy was awesome for some reason.
