I don't like how the part about Vince is tacked on at the end. The last sentence shouldn't go off on a tangent. In any case, Punk is over as a face. No need to turn him heel. Hell, ECW is in need of some babyfaces that fans actually like. Was going to say. He can be a heel after winning a title or something, but right now they need the faces. Or at least faces that the WWE wants to book to succeed

In all seriousness, I agree with you, but I don't think anyone should underestimate just how important Punk could be to the WWE as a big time heel. He's a fine babyface, don't get me wrong; he was in ROH, he was in IWA: MS, he currently is in WWE, far as I can tell. But Punk as a heel has the potential to be absolutely huge for the E, if they know how to utilize him. Punk as the "militant straight-edge leader" is an absolutely mind blowing gimmick, the kind that could have big time mainstream appeal if it isn't treated as a joke. It'd also somewhat up the chances of us getting to see him enter to "Miseria Cantare" in WWE, even by just a little bit.

The only real babyfaces ECW has that the fans like are RVD, Punk, Sabu, Sandman, Dreamer, and Mahoney. Most of those wrestlers won't be getting pushes any time soon. And Lashley is just there, not really doing much or exciting anyone as champion.

He used it in OVW...but because OVW didn't have the lighting package it wasn't as good as it was in TNA... although if I was watching ECW one week and I heard that song, I would DIE.

Punk definitely should turn heel somewhere down the line. There's no question about that. I think he has a LOT of babyface mileage left in his character, though.
