Wrestling fans shouldn't hate each other. We already get enough hassle from the "it's all fake" segment of humanity. Couldn't agree more. I will NEVER understand the childish bickering that goes on sometimes between people here

I don't hate any fans. I do get annoyed though with some. Especially the ones who try to put you down if you have a different opinion. Everyone is not supposed to like the same things.

I hate the boring fan chants.
How would you like it if you were in spandex underwear in
front of hundreds of people saying you suck?

Let's see, mostly I cannot stand smarks(the utter self-pretensiousness drives me up the wall),also the fans that brings the 500 foot wide by 500 foot high sign with him, sits right in front of you, then holds the damned thing up every 1.5 seconds so you can't see the match(esp. when the show you are at is a house show). Those people with the giant signs have to go. If you want to hold it up during entrances or during commercials, go ahead. But at the 15 minute mark of the main event I don't need to see WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! instead of HHH and whoever. Also, the guy who feels the need to stand up and wave/hold his sign up everytime he's on camera. He/she will sit and watch, but the second the camera hits THAT angle and they see themselves on there they shoot up and scream AAWDSBDSABDSBDASBDASBDSJAB!!!!! And I mean EVERYTIME. The worst though, and I've run in to a few of these people on here from time after time, are the people who are such giant marks for someone that when you try and argue something negative against that wrestler they aren't going to have it. Especially if you bring up someone like Hogan. To be fair there are some people on here who wish Hogan would leave already, but also don't respect his place in the history or the business. But there are also people who dont like him but at least give him credit. But it gets ridiculous at times. Someone can ask you who you'd rather see main event Wrestlemania, Hulk Hogan or Edge. And if you say Edge there are going to be at least 5 people here who jump on your ass right away going "Yeah, because Hogan wouldn't draw or anything, right? ". Funny, I don't remember him ASKING who would draw better.

I hate people your regular John Cena fans. Why you ask? Usually they are the same guys who like rap because "of the beat", so they all can go straight to hell for all I care.

I hate any type of "elitist" fans. Any fans who think that what they like is inherently better than what everyone else likes. And WWE, TNA, and ROH all have these.

I dont hate fans per se, I just hate things other fans do to embarrass me.
Such as, when watching a PPV out in public at a bar or maybe Buffalo Wild Wings. You always get some clown who spends the whole night yelling at the TV. This guy isnt a 14 year old fan, no. He's usually a 25 year old who really needs how to be mature in public. You also usually get some gem of a fan, who spends a good portion of the night telling everyone how smart he is about wrestling. Its these few fans that get fans painted as the "Annoying redneck" image. Even moreso than NASCAR fans.

1) Reverse elitists. These are the people who automatically say "I hate RoH message board posters/fans because they think they're better then everyone", or "WWE fans are idiots for liking Vince, he's killing the biz, only the indies/puro are good". Maybe I'm a fan of RoH because the product suits my taste in ways the WWE, and a bulk of TNA, don't. You wanna like WWE or TNA or something else? Fine by me. How does this make me elitist? Am I also an elitist because I drink A&W over Dr. Pepper? Ditto for the indy/puro snobs who refuse to accept that anything done on national TV might be entertaining. Sometimes, 10,000 head drops and 1080-degree flips every other move get kinda old.
2) Fans who take it too seriously. At the end of the day, wrestling does not move my life. Whether Chris Benoit gets another title push or not, whether Triple H holds people down or not, whether Vince Russo is ruining TNA or not, it doesn't affect my life in any tangible way. This is just entertainment. People who treat it as something more important need their priorities reassessed.
3) Garbage fed Meatheads. CZW (as an example) DOES have some good wrestling/wrestlers in it. But breaking light tubes and spreading thumbtacks out and using glass shards does not a good wrestler make, nor a good fed when it's done in the overboard manner CZW does. And the simpletons who confuse a parade of garbage matches for actual athleticism and storytelling are nothing more then bloodthirsty idiots. A little goes a long way, boys.
4) Contrary-to-be-contrary positivity freaks. It's alright to find the rose growing in the turd. Trying to keep a positive frame of mind is a laudable goal. But pointing out the positive SOLELY to be contrary against the negative, especially if the negative outweights the positive, is ridiculous. You're not impressing anyone by doing this; you're turning a blind eye to half the equation, just to spite said half. In psychology, that's called "living in denial".

No offense to you, personally, but I'm not fond of the mindset that indies are nothing but head drops and flippy floppy. Are there feds/wrestlers that do that? Sure. Is it all the indies? Hell no.
Sorry. Other than that, I had no problem with any of your points.

I didn't say it was ALL indies. I'm a huge RoH fan. I've seen some FIP and CZW. They are not 100% flippy floppy and head drops. Some indies, do, however, have a tendency to focus on that at the expense of selling and storytelling. And while I like me some headbumps and flippy floppy stuff on occasion, if faced with a two-hour show of nothing BUT that, it can get kind of tiresome.

I hate any type of "elitist" fans. Any fans who think that what they like is inherently better than what everyone else likes. And WWE, TNA, and ROH all have these. Let me just clarify what I'm saying here. I hate the elitists who insist that their brand is superior. E elitists say theirs is clearly better because it's the most popular, it's the "big time" that all indy wrestlers aspire to. ROH elitists insist theirs is the best because it features real talent and workrate. TNA fans insist theirs is number one because it isn't WWE. It's all well and good to prefer one to the other, but in the end, it's really just a matter of taste. And no one's taste is better than anyone else's. Having said that, you guys really should accept the fact that CHIKARA is better than everything else out there.
