Marks- Think wrestling is legit.
Smarks- Have at least some understanding on how the business works.
IWC- Internet Wrestling Community, meaning if you at any time sign on to a wrestling board on the internet and join in, you are DE FACTO part of an IWC.
Period.

Rangers + Islanders < Devils. Too bad our arena absolutely sucks. Nordiques > Every other NHL teams put together too bad we don't have a team anymore  I have always wondered. What exactly is a Nordique? |

Can't we just be Fans with different opinions without being labeled. Are you NUTS? How can we do that when it's so clearly obvious that everyone's opinion but our own is TEH SUxX0RZZZZZZZZZ! I've always wondered. We all get the same crap from the mainstream for being wrestling fans. Why do we fight with each other? There are SO MANY different personalities/styles that we can all like someone different without impinging on each other's right to enjoy the product. And yet... Person A: John Cena is teh bmob! Person B: NOWAI He is totally ass. And you're a gaylord for liking him. Person C: SNITSKY! I never understand that. |

Well, a "Nordique" is someone living in the North in french Les Nordiques meant that they came from the north, as Quebec is in the North of North America! no, i don't mean that there have to be a huge eplaination for your not liking a worker. but there are too many who just say "JOHN CENA = SUCK" and don't even have opinions to back up why they think he sucks, they're just following iwc trends. for example, i am a huge cm punk fan. now, if you say "i hate cm punk" i will naturally ask why. if you say "he sucks", then i instantly know you are just being a crap stirring ass. but if you say "i don't like cm punk because of x reason and y reason", i will think you are insane and possibly blind, but i will at least have an actual opinion to respect. See, that's the thing. I don't love CM Punk, and I probably never will. He doesn't suck, but he's not someone I'll ever be a huge mark for. It doesn't mean that I hate him, though. I'm not sure why the IWC has decided that battle lines have to be drawn all the time, and with every wrestler/company/show, you have to be on one side or the other. It also seems like the IWC judges a person's intelligence based on which side they're on, concerning these subjects, and that just gets irritating. |

I don't know what category I fall in. My favourite wrestler of all time is Bret Hart. A typical smark favourite. Yet a few of my other favourites include Hogan, Warrior and Nash. Three enemies of ye cursed "work-rate." The only WWE show I currently watch is Smackdown, I'm an avid TNA watcher and I don't watch ROH. My favourite period of wrestling is early 90s WWF, yet I love the Attitude era too. I dig mid-90s ECW, and I can watch most WCW eras and enjoy them. Yep, even the 99'-00 era.  |

Anti-smarks annoy me because they don't seem to like ANYTHING. Their only response in threads are sarcastic, single sentences written in all caps with exclamation marks. It's all in some attempt to mock any and every serious opinion about how something is being handled in the wrestling world. It's really not amusing.
