I mean, I kept hearing the Dudley boyz talking about enciting near riots back in the day, and even joey styles bringing it up while ecw was still active, but I for the life of me have never seen any actual riots.
I was under the impression, by riot, they meant some fans actually jumped the railing and there was this massive brawl between the dudleys, security and a bunch of fans... All I've seen so far is mostly just insane heat and a bunch of swearing from Bubba to the Audience and some "smark fans" yelling back at him...
But really the closest I've actually seen the fans actually revolting are the NWO "throw trash in the ring" segments, "HBK getting bottles hurled at him in England when he dethroned the British Bulldog's euro title reign live on pay per view", the entire "bret vs. America fued", Jeff Jarret getting tortillas thrown at him in Mexico, and bottles once again by the impact zone... and the only thing I've seen where fans just totally mob the guy are when they're happy such as Christian overthrowing Jeff Jarret and the ecw ring collapse.

I believe ECW did have a moment where fans jumped the barricade & got into the ring to celebrate a victory with the superstar.

The Dudley Boys came very close to inciting a riot at a ECW houseshow back in the day.2000. I am not sure of the exact time period, but the main event was Taz vs. Tajiri for the ECW belt.. I was at the show in a suburb of New Orleans. The Dudley's entrance/introduction lasted about 20 minutes. Bubba Dudley was just vicous with his insults on the mic. There was a teenager and his mother sitting in the front row and they were really fired up and talking trash to the Dudley's. I'm not sure how the "conversation" got this point, but Bubba Ray asked the boy how old he was. The kid yelled out that he was seventeen. Then Bubba told the lady that next time she needs to bring the kid's father to keep in line or Devon will have to do it. In a rather awkward reply, the lady shouted that his father "ain't been around in years." Bubba Ray shakes his head and says "Oh a single mother here in New Orleans. Sounds like a familiar story, kind of like a fairy tale. I like telling fairy tales. At this point, everyone in the ring is cracking up. Joel Gertner, Devon, Sign Guy Dudley etc. can barely contain themselves. Bubba starts doing a soft voice like a nursery rhyme narrator might do. " Let me go back in time seventeen years." This lady was on Bourbon St.begging for a twenty dollar piece of Crack. Nine months later this is the pile of sh--"feces" that staggered out of your Cu--(4 letter word for vagina that starts with the letter C and rhymes with hunt. The End. Well apparently the kid and his mother were accompanied by about 6-7 family members and friends. They went ballistic and started throwing anything they could get their hands on at Bubba. Security was standing there watching the people throw stuff with a "Bubba deserved it" look on their faces. Bubba started screaming at security to throw them out which they were reluctant to do and it wasn't pretty. They threw almost two rows of people out and then started their match. One of the older guys that was with the mother and teenager actually managed to sneak back in toward the end of the match. It was a small arena and the whole crowd saw him. The guy actually got a pop from the crowd. Then security walked over and after a heated verbal conversation with the security guard he turned around and left to a chorus of boos.

Shane Douglas grabbing Gary Wolfe by the halo when he had broken his neck.
People were ready to commit murders on Francine and Douglas.

I remember at the Queens Elk Lodge, the Dudleys were provoking some fans, they had a chair thrown at them, and one fan even jumped down from the balcony to get at the Dudleys, but never made it to the ring because of Atlas Security. I think it was at the "It Ain't Seinfeld" event in May 1998.
