Does anyone else think that Shamrock should had been champ. I was a MASSIVE shamrock mark back in the day just cause i love when he would SNAP cause he was the only legitimate guy who since he was huge in UFC could honesty destroy any guy on the roster

I want to see him in action since I was watching WCW (and then nothing) when he was around. What's some of his best work?

As a semi mark at the time. I wanted him to win it so bad at DX IYH. But now when I look back on it I realize that during that period it wouldn't have been a good idea. If he had stuck around throughout 2000 I think he would have made a decent champion. Juts being a hard nose legit tough guy that would come to the ring go about his business and go be back in the locker room within minutes. Sort of like Goldberg only I think Shamrock had loads more wrestling skill. So it would have been more enjoyable for us wrestling fans.
All that being said. I would have enjoyed a Shamrock title reign. I always enjoyed his WWE "snapping" stint and also liked his run as a member of the corporation. I even enjoyed Bossman and he as tag champs(if anyone remembers that). And what little Iv'e seen of his brief time in TNA was cool too. Not too mention I've always wondered if during 97-99 Vince ever had plans on putting the belt on him. Seems like right up Vince's alley of something to do.

Shamrock was one of those guys who was pure mid-card material. When he debuted, he got a high profile feud and even had a title match with Shawn Micheals. But he really grew as a wrestler and entertainer in the mid-card scene and did his most entertaining stuff there.
He was a good IC and tagchamp, but no main-event star.
