I think it was a bad idea to move them to Friday's, but UPN(at that time) thought it would be a good idea to give the timeslot to Chris Rock's crappy sitcom. Anyways, should it move back to Thursdays, and have them compete with TNA. The Thursday Night wars can start and you can expect quality shows. What do you guys think?

I think the quality for SD is already better than wecw and RAW combined. SD seems to be better since the move to Friday. Also, I think the wwe does not want to even acknowledge TNA as a threat so to move thier best show to Thursday would be doing just that, acknowledging that there is a threat.

No, it would get killed on Thursdays. It would be up against The Office, CSI, and Grey's Anatomy among others.

There is absolutely no chance that SmackDown would survive with strong competition like that. Only the diehard wrestling fans would end up watching it, in the end.

No, it would get killed on Thursdays. It would be up against The Office, CSI, and Grey's Anatomy among others. Actually, even low-ranking shows on Thursdays do a lot better. Take SMALLVILLE - compared to the main networks, it's getting killed with low numbers. But its ratings are actually up - a full point usually - compared to last season when it was on Tues. or Weds. And remember - TNA's Thursday show got a 1.0 (or higher) rating not that long ago, and SpikeTV was thrilled. A highly competitive night is actually good for everyone, even CW and smaller networks. If you're on a main network, though, and do badly (like these FOX comedies), then you're really in trouble. I forget if Everybody Hates Chris is even still on Thursdays, but the original idea - which did stick - was that by moving Smackdown, their biggest ratings show, UPN/CW would get 2 big nights instead of just 1.

I like to go out on a Friday night.
But only move it if you're gonna move it in the UK too!
