Tough Pick, but Ahmed was more over than Lashley is now, esp. around KOTR 96.

Ahmed Johnson was one of my favorite wrestlers when I was a kid. He was awesome, to bad he went crazy.

Another poll where the voting is determined by nostalgia.

Tough choice because they are both horrible on the mic. I will say I liked Ahmed way more when he debuted because he was intense and you could feel it but with Lashley, he tries to hard to be intense and it doesnt work at all

If they attempte actual moves in the match, it might get ugly.
I'll take Ahmed. He oozed intensity.

Easily Ahmed, and nostalgia has nothing to do with it. Sure I liked him in 1996 but could care less about him now. He was much better than boring, drag-queen-faced Lashley.

I'm proud to be the first Bobby Lashley vote.
Ahmed was a decent character, but he was sloppy in a bad way, and WAYYYYY too prone to injure people.
Lashley, even though he's not really over like Ahmed was in the day, seems to want to do a good job. I can respect that more than if he just went out there, tried to be "all that" and ended up injuring people - or at least make it look like he's not really trying...

Lashley can out wrestle Ahmed with both arms tied behind his back. Sure, Johnson was a bit more popular back in '96, but in a lot of cases, popularity has nothing to do with being a better wrestler. Batista gets all sorts of cheers, while someone like Rob Conway doesn't...geddit? This world we live in makes no logical sense, much like a TNA show.

Bobby Lashley because he can at least do the moves without injuring everyone. As for overness I think they're really about the same.

Ahmed was far more intense. He also didn't sound like my twelve year old nephew.

It's hard, because Bobby Lashley is a lot more technically sound then Ahmed, but Ahmed just reeked of intensity, and really had a personality that people could get behind. It's definitely a toss up.
Bobby Lashley is 10 times the wrestler Ahmed Johnson was.
Ahmed Johnson has 10 times the personality that Bobby Lashley has.

Dump him in the river Ahmed!
This vote is made sheerly on the fact that Ahmed was one of my favorites when I was young, and around that time period.

Ahmed seemed to either injure himself or injure his opponents far too frequently. He had a fairly brief run in the WWE, in which he may have been more over than Lashley is now. However, I would think Lashley has lasted in WWE about as long or longer than Ahmed did, at least if you count actual time being active on the roster. Also, Ahmed was not as good in the ring. Finally, Johnson never did anything after he was released from WWE. His biggest post WWE gig was a blown up member (he didn't stay in shape) of Harlem Heat 2000 as Big T.

Helium induced Lashley or marble mouth Ahmed.
I go with Ahmed... just because at least he's funny in how horrible he is.
Lashley is a giant meh in my book.
