Wrestlers have lots of feuds, but there is always that one guy that they feud with that is like their main nemesis. Even though continuity is non-existant and they might partner with those enemies, we still see them as the wrestlers main rival. I bet my sentencing is off so I'll name a few obvious examples:
Undertaker - Kane Steve Austin - Vince McMahon Trish Stratus - Lita
There are some who don't have a definite rival though. Like i don't, Lashley perhaps.
Can you guys think of anymore?

HHH and the Rock were perennial rivals for the longest time, as well as HHH and Jericho.

Eh, I thought about that but it was really Dreamer's desire to beat Raven, Raven just wanted to hurt him for his high school past then be done with it. It's kind of more like Rock - Austin

Actually, Flair/Savage is a blood feud that doesn't get a lot of credit. It was a feud that spanned two promotions.

A wrestler should ALWAYS have an arch-enemy.
And they should generally be equally matched with neither constantly jobbing to the other.
It's also best I think if the connection between the two is complex, so sometimes they can be allies but never entirely.
It's basic "comic-book" writing
