They were both pretty good, but I felt the 2005 one had more of a nostalgic feel to it.

2005 had a better vibe and left you with hope about ECW. 2006's version was ok, but the influx of WWE guys on the card didn't do it for me. Of course the 2007 version will make the 06 one look like WM3 with probably Lashley vs. Test vs. Knox in a 3-way at the Hammerstein.

2005 was generally better I felt, with the matches over all. Plus the main event was insane, and so fun to watch. I was so excited for that pay per view, I even memorized the commercial.
ECW ONE NIGHT STAND. A one time reunion of the ludest, the rudest, the most insane, the most severe, the most extreme form of sports entertainment legal in the United States today. The original stars are back, for ECW!

Hopefully there isn't, but on the WWE's schedule it says that there is one and it will take place at the Hammerstein, though of course that could change between now and June.

2006 by a hair, both great shows, but 2006 had Terry Funk/Tommy Dreamer/Beulah v.s. Edge/Foley/Lita, which was just incredible.

2005 definately had the nostalgia factor, but I think 2006 had better matches and more "OH poopy!" moments. Plus, RVD over Cena, awesomeness.
I also paid a good bit of money to be present at ONS2, so I might be looking at it through biased eyes.

They were both great shows but 2005 felt like it was ECW for one night.. um.. stand.
I loved almost everything ons 1 except for the eddie match, his heart didnt seem in to it.
But simply for seeing the sandman come out to enter sandman one last time was an awesome moment.
But I got to give ons 2 it's probs simply for eugene getting the biggest heat minus cena and them both keeping stright faces.

RVD and Cena was great, but ONS I was just amazing. It had such a vibe and atmosphere that was perfect.

2005
I had low expectations going into the show, but it turned out to be one of the best PPVs of that year. Plus it had Jericho, Storm, Todd Zombie, Whipwreck, and Foley on commentary!
