Which one is better? Metalica or Motorhead?
I peronally believe Motorhead has the best one because it sounds much ballsier with Lemmy's vocals.

Metallica, but the Motorhead one is one of the few covers that I love.

Why don't they get Motorhead to use the cover song for The Sandman.

Why don't they get Motorhead to use the cover song for The Sandman. Cuz Trips wants to be the only one with a Motorhead entrance? (Even though he hardle ever uses it anymore, but, whatever)

Why don't they get Motorhead to use the cover song for The Sandman. They don't use the Motorhead version because they would still have to pay royalites to Metallica as Metallica is the one who created it and Motorhead was given permission to make their own version of the song. This has nothing to do with Triple H.

Metallica, mostly because Motorhead should stick to their own originals.
However, Lemmy>>>James, Lars, Kirt, and Jason.
And Cliff.
Oh yeah. I went there.

Why don't they get Motorhead to use the cover song for The Sandman. They'd still have to obtain the song rights from Metallicas publisher. And on top of that, they'd have to pay Motorhead, it is infinitely cheaper than $12 million a year, but Vince isn't known for being relaxed and never being stingy when it comes to dishing out 'unnecessary' cash.

Motorhead... Metallica are an awful band. Awful musicians, mediocre song writers... at least Motorhead's cover adds some balls and power to the tune to make the song work!
Motorhead is an iconic slab of heavy metal. Lemmy's bass work with Hawkwind and Robert Calvert prove hes better than average and Mikkey Dee was the best metal drummer in the world in the 80s.
Theres few legitimately tough guys in music, Lemmy is one of them and you can hear it in his rasp. Fits Sandman's persona perfectly!

What Evilmasterbetty said. I'm listening to the Motorhead version now, and it's awful.
BTW, how the heck did ECW get the rights to Enter Sandman if they're too expensive for teh WWE to bother shelling for them?

They didn't, and were lucky enough to avoid Metallica during their "let's sue everybody" phase.
