Rocks wrestling style was always unique to me. Not the moveset but the way he wrestled altogether.
Technically? Pretty much sucked. He had one of the worst sharpshooters I have ever seen. (Besides maybe Trish or HBK at times)
He put that little extra effort. Doing that thing with his leg when he kicked or shaking his arm to look like it did extra damage when he did a punch. He oversold LIKE CRAZY (Which I loved)
Basically (to me) he was the ultimate in entertainment pro wrestling. Cena may suck technically but he also sucks charismatically in the ring.
So has anyone made there moveset and overall wrestling style to be entertaining (Not technically but just entertaining)
Noone has been able to do this even close to as well as the Rock.
Sure you have crazy gimmick wrestlers like Ebessan BUT I'm talking about one that wasn't a complete joke (Like Rocks)

In fact, Id say he borrowed his overselling from HBK, who borrowed it from Hennig

Agreed on the overselling bit.
As for Rock's "enthusiastic" offense, it was just his little touches like Foley's incomprehensible jibberish he'd let loose during a flurry of offense, or Austin's mannerisms during his.

I loved it when Rock oversold the Stone Cold Stunner. Some would just fall unconscious, others would stumble a little bit before doing the same. Not only would Rocky do that, but he'd do a backflip, too. It was awesome.

I've said it before, Rock is the modern day Hogan. Both of them don't need to do much in the ring to get a reaction, so they do only what they have to. They just know how to tell the story that is intended while having the fans in the palm of their hands.
You can't teach that. Either you have it or you don't. That's why it's stupid to tell guys like Cena or Carlito to go out there and act like Rock. It doesn't work that way.

I've never seen Cena or Carlito try to entertain the crowd like The Rock or Hogan.... Well maybe Cena....

Foley's incomprehensible jibberish he'd let loose during a flurry of offense Wow, I thought I was the only person who noticed and liked this. Especially when he's unloading shots at the guy in the corner, all the while going 'gar bam bam har saaaah saaaah'. To add to the list, it's like Flair's notoriously dirty mouth ('Not so fast motherf***er!' or 'Oh SHIT oh God') or Terry Funk's poor old man selling ('You tore out my eye, whyyyyy').

I always though Orton's whole stalking people for the RKO was blatantly trying to be like The Rock stalking people for the Rock bottom. But apart from that they aren't very similar.
I also can't think of anyone who has copied his whole style.

I read somewhere a while ago that creative wanted Carlito to "act like the Rock." Not saying he would be like the Rock, but he could be almost as good as him if he tried a little harder.

Nahhhh everyone i know has noticed Foleys gibberish at some point, he even does it when he's walking down the ramp "wasssahhh weeeeeeehhh?? waaaataaaaah? ahhhhhhhhh??" Obviously Khali has been taking notes!!

I can't believe people don't mention how Rock basically took the same style of punching that Scott Hall had been doing for a long time.
Funny thing about the overselling of the Stunner tough. Austin has said that he loved the way Rock would sell the stunner whenever they fought, but that he hated the way Hall oversold it. Always found it funny, since they both look ridiculous.
