And why can't you just let it go already. I really can't stand it when this topic comes up because everyone feels the need to rip into HBK because they feel like they know exactly how HBK feels and that they are more suited to make the decisions for HBK. Exactly, if we're gonna put down HBK in that regard we might as well lose respect for CM Punk as well, because if he's so straight edge why would he let Raven and Dreamer pour booze down his throat during the Raven/Punk feud in ROH? I know what you mean, and I don't mean to nitpick, but I don't think the booze actually went down Punk's throat, it touched his lips.

I might be able to get into serious DX more, just hopefully they don't dominate all the time as much Seriousness probably means they'll dominate MORE.

They had him tied to the ropes and poured it down. He got some of it. But even so, the comparison works.

Exactly. And furthermore we're forgetting one major thing to come out of all this: For once, that asswipe Kevin Dunn isn't getting his way, and that's put me in a good mood. Keep your finger off the switch, Dunn.

I think you guys are getting way off base here, but that's cool. I'm certainly not getting on HBK's case. I'm simply pointing out the obvious hypocrisy of the situation. In the end, I'm sure there are plenty of things that wrestlers do as characters that they normally wouldn't approve of doing. And if they want to keep their job, they'll do it and keep their opinions to themselves. HBK isn't suddenly exempt from being a hypocrite because he objects to the DX material, yet didn't mind the whole McMahonism angle.

WHO THE f*** SAID HE DIDN'T MIND THE MCMAHON ANGLE!
That was all McMahon in those sketches. HBK was just drug along. You really think that if HBK went to Vince and said "Hey I don't want to do this" that Vince would have stopped? Hell no.
Just let it the f*** go already. Jeez.

So... when did Meltzer say that HBK had no problem with McMahon's skits? Are we to assume that HBK as so much power backstage that he can change McMahon's plan's on a whim? I suppose that's why he lost at Summerslam and was stuck doing skits he didn't like.
I'm sorry but if he didn't like these chances are he was even more pissed with McMahonism. Either that or he saw the humor I saw in it, and realized that it was in fact putting Christianity over, I dunno.
