Well, Teddy was pretty effective as the mouth piece for D-Lo and Rodney Mack. Maybe it's time for Teddy to make a new "Down with the Brown/Back the Mack." Maybe it's time for Teddy to "Lobby for Bobby!" I can't think of anything to rhyme with Lashley.

I was thinking they should just give him a mask and give him that shockmaster voice box like the shockmaster and ric flair had back in the 80's. That would work.

Yeah Lashley sucks. I've never seen his appeal.
I hardly think a rumour of amateur wrestling talent counts when the big lug hasn't had any good matches (none that I've seen anyway- haven't watched smackdown in a few months). And he has the charisma of an armadillo.
Give the title to CM Punk Sabu RVD Snitsky instead.

The answer, Bill Alfonso. Bringing him in as a manager for Lashley could turn him heal and set up a feud with RVD. Have RVD take the title off Lashley and then start a program with CM Punk. Have Punk with the title at ONS or Wrestlemania.
This makes everyone happy. RVD get another title run before he leaves. CM Punk eventually becomes champ and Lashley has the title taken off of him in a way that won't kill his career.
Lashley just doesn't fit into the ECW mold. He just seems to have the old ECW attitude.

Tis' a shame. I've always been a mark for Lashley. He probably has the worst mic skills in all of wrestling today, but he's the only wrestler I've seen who is full of intensity, in every single match. There's just something about his demeanor in the ring that just makes me want to watch him dismantle somebody. He has all the athletic ability in the world, he's improved tenfold in the ring since his debut, and nobody likes him. Simply puzzling to me.

He was one of 4 people carrying SmackDown! for a strech there, and as a rookie, he's performed very well. He isn't champ material yet, but I don't see why there's all the hatin.

Still doesn't matter, the guy is big, so even if he flubs up his words, he's not going anywhere. Plus the guy is over to an extent with fans. Definitely agreed. I doubt anything will cause WWE to de-push him.

He definitely wasn't ready, I can't believe they couldn't see that. Lashley I feel is a good wrestler, but he was good in the midcard. That's not to say he couldn't be something in the future, but right now, they gave the ECW belt to a midcard guy. That's why I'm hoping RVD gets the belt, and maybe can bring something back to the now struggling ECW brand.

I like Lashley..... just not as ECW champion(for right now). I think he has some kickass potential and in year or so let him be the holder of a world title....

Uh, Lashley is actually a very accomplished amateur wrestler. He was never really a bodybuilder. Uh, he was a good amateur wrestler at 170 lbs, at 260 or whatever he is he's a bodybuilder. So... then Brock Lesner was a Body Builder as well eh?

Don't you know once you cross 250lbs you can no longer be considered a wrestler. Duh, only guys who are 230lbs or less can be good wrestlers. Anyone else are untalented hosses.

Until ECW came back around, the Intercontinental Championship was practically RVD's for the taking.

Lashely is a really good wrestler. I watched a match between him and Ken Doane last fall that was great froma wrestling standpoint. He just needs a mouthpiece... i say turn him heel and put a dispicable heel manager with him and you've got money.

...OF COURSE he's not ready. Seriously, why do they keep doing the same thing and expecting different results?? Heidenreich, Nathan Jones, Mordecai, The Great Khali, and every other huge guy that made Vince's dick hard over the past few years weren't ready in friggin midcard feuds, why would Lashley be ready to be main-eventing? Don't get me wrong, he's not a bad wrestler, but he's every bit as green as the guys I mentioned above. Vince REALLY needs to stop surrounding himself with yes men, and I'm BEGGING for the day where the WWE is almost out of business and he realizes it.

Yes, a lot of Wrestlers are bodybuilders but Lashley IMO is very poor in the ring. I was just saying the 3 champs are bodybuilders & are all poor in the ring cause they are IMO again.

Another thing, having 3 Champions with the bodybuilder look & limited in-ring abilities, it makes the shows all feel the same.

I like Lashley, but he's seriously just a midcarder right now, he definetely was not ready to be a top face on any of the brands.
