Hmm, for some reason MVP's defending his US belt against Ric Flair. That's... kind of weird. Zuh? Well, they want SOMETHING for both of them to do, and Matt Hardy isn't getting his push this month.

Exactly, something tells me Batista picked up some of those backstage politic skills from Triple H during his time in Evolution I agree, if only for the fact he somehow has lasted in the WWE after all the crap he pulled in OVW with the "please excuse Dave he can't train today" notes from his wife. Why do i picture Batista showing up on Wooo's the boss with a note for everything signed "Batista's Mom" like epstein on welcome back Kotter.

But in all honesty MVP/Flair should be good ....even though Matt's at the point where after beating 2 main eventers, William Regal, and The Miz (ok maybe not the last one) he should've gotten a US title shot by now.

So is this where Yang FINALLY wins the CW belt? I mean seriously come on now. This could have been a fantastic angle and got Jimmy over like a motherf***er if they had actually gave it T.V. time.
Anyway, hopefully Edge, Yang, MVP and Cena/Booker win.

I could really give a crap about the cruiserweight belt...right when I finally started to care about it (Helms holding it for so long and the rumors of Mistico coming in) they take it off of him and give it to Chavo? Meh. Get rid of it and bring back the TV Title or something.

However getting rid of the belt would only bury the cruisers even further beyond any saving.

Helms held the belt for 385 days, or just about 13 months. He had a total of 6 defenses, half of which was only in his first month as champ, and was also out for almost 2 months while still the champion for a broken nose. In my opinion it was not a "proper" long reign. It was just him being like "check it out I have a belt" and then gets killed by Bobby Lashley or the Boogeyman or King Booker or The Undertaker. His feud with Matt Hardy, while very good, was not properly capitalized upon as far as Helms was concerned because instead of them trying to move him up the card he got punked out by King Booker and the Undertaker.

Interesting facts thank you. Honestly I wasn't paying attention until they started talking about how long the reign was on TV as if it were something special...and with the rumors of Mistico coming in I thought they were using this as a reason to get him over big when he became the one to finally beat Helms for the belt at a big card. Then that didn't happen and they gave it to Chavo? I was like "meh..." and stopped caring again. I just don't see any reason for cruiserweights anymore. Truth is there was a two year or so fad where cruiserweights were made to be a big deal in WCW with guys like Eddie, Jericho, Benoit, Malenko, Mysterio and others fighting for that belt... then Vince helped turn a handful of these guys into credible World Title holders and luster of the cruiser weight has been gone ever since. It also seems silly to me to see a bunch of guys being put into the category of "cruiserweight" when HBK, a guy smaller than most of them, is constantly getting World Title shots. I think they should just get rid of it.

now after the draft i'll assume London and Kendrick will probably be facing Cade and Murdoch at the PPV and maybe The Major Brothers will face Deuce N Domino. I mean if Flair gets a U.S. Title shot for doing nothing than why not these guys too?
that just leaves the question, who is facing Santino? William Regal?

William Regal should pick up the IC title at this PPV, if his push rumors (sorry, rumours) are true.

Well, we could actually do something good with that, since after all, Delirious demands to have all the paper (paper, paper, paper) in da world.

The best thing they could do is just rename the CW title to the European Title, or the old WCW TV title and then allow not just CW's to compete for it, but everyone. Same with the U.S TItle. I was seriouslly hoping Chavo would've gone over Benoit for the U.S TItle during their feud simply because it was going to push a CW wrestler. CW"s can and should be doing more then just wrestle one another every so often on TV and 1 match every 3 months at a PPV.
Previous "CW" wrestlers who have gone on to bigger and better things: Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio...I can't think of others but...
Anyway, this is the most looked forward to PPV this year. I'm hoping they'll have some sort of match between CM Punk and Benoit for the ECW World title and let them wrestle for 40 minutes, but that will never happen, but uh... Edge vs Batista will be just as exciting as their previous bouts. I hope Batista loses and then Edge can go on to wrestle someone else like Flair maybe. Flair vs MVP will be entertaining, but MVP will go over. JWY vs Chavo..eh, at least a CW match is nice. The Raw 4 way is going to be fun also with Booker T and Foley thrown in for good measure. I still think Cena will win.

^^ isint it a 5 man challange match? Cena, Foley, BookAH, Lashley, RKO it's a 5 man not 4 way also they should change the title name and get some contenders in. They should bring over carlito or someone also to go for it because he is entertaining and it's kinda getting boring watching the one heel CW keep winning the title and keeping it from about 5 face CW
