If WWE wants a third-tier title then they should just combine all the brands, then make the Intercontinental title a second tier and make the US title third tier.

Wasn't the European title created simply for Davey Boy Smith to tour Europe and own that market? Yep. Davey Boy was massively over in Europe at that point, and they wanted to give him a championship to capitalize on that popularity. Only two. Davey Boy and Regal.

Saskatchewan Hardcore International Title! The Canadian 100 kilograms and under Championship was awesome too.

Was there ever a "WWE" Euro champ? I thought that title was retired while it was still WWF?

It was retired 2 months after the name change. Spike Dudley (for 1 day), William Regal, Jeff Hardy, and RVD were all WWE European champions.

Didn't Triple H and Owen Hart have a pretty intense feud for that title or am I totaly confused?

I always thought it was pointless. If there was a WWF brand that toured europe exclusivley then the belt would have been great. They should have given it a more appropriate name ie: North American Title, US belt, TV Title, WWF Magazine Belt, Canadian belt, International Belt, Northa Atlantic Belt, etc etc

Triple H lost the belt when Goldust lost a match as his stand in, and they ruled that it was a loss on Triple H's behalf.

Well, European belt mattered when there were which belts only in the company?
WWF Championship IC European Tag Team Lightweight
Of course to be honest, 5 belts at the maximum is always I figured should be the default max # of titles for a promotion, but thats just me.

Normally, I'd agree, but the other brands need SOMETHING. We need to put the IC belt on someone who actually is on TV. Regal needs it back.

Some Raw low-carder needs to just come out one week with the title.
Hell, that's how Mideon was champion.

Seems WWE is hinting at that, with Regal's Raw debut being him eyeing Maria, and refusing to shake Santino's hand.
