So, what is your guys favorite storyline? For me, it was Undertaker vs Kane. I just think the build up was great, over so many months it made the match seem like it was really important, instead of now where some WM matches are only built up for about a month or two.
Honerable mention goes to Austin vs Mcmahon

I'd go with the Sting-Hogan feud leading up to Starrcade....it had some incredible build-up

Sting/Hogan was great. I'm still amazed Bischoff went a whole year on it. Too bad the match itself was booked so terribly.
That said, my all-time favorite storyline would have to be the original Austin-McMahon feud. It was just perfectly done.

The Foley-HHH stuff leading up to 'Mania 2000. It capitalized on their past feud, but didn't rely on it heavily or anything and both guys busted their butts to make the feud and their matches very entertaining.
Also, all of the 'Mania X-Seven stuff with Vince vs. Shane... and the involvement of Trish, Linda, Stephanie, Foley, Regal, etc.

cactus/dreamer was good, with the whole "anti-hardcore" gimmick, and i really enjoyed mickie vs trish, with mickie going from obsessed fan to complete psycho, to worst enemy, and then with trish trying mind games with mickie.

The entire Bret/Owen saga...

I forgot how much Bret-Owen rocked, though it didn't end the way I wanted it to (Owen title run).
