And here's where we last were: I don't remember if I've ever fought Khali on legend difficulty (as I can't stand playing the game on Legend due to the AI's reversal rate of approximately 102%), but he was already quite a fearsome opponent on Hard. I managed to beat him while playing as Hayabusa, but I sure got thrown around a LOT in that match (including getting powerbombed over the top rope onto the floor several times, ouch). I would have gotten my ass handed to me if it weren't for the "FMW Rules" stipulation I used. ;D

If they just gave the wrestlers the ability to have any move in their movest, and map them to the four directions, and bring back the 10 back grapples (i mean seriously 4, then the cooler moves were made specials only), I'd be all for ultimate control back grapples.
Yeah KHali was a bastard, especially with the moveset i gave him.
I had no idea you could choke slam a guy into the turnbuckles.
so he did that and nailed me with the brain chop to secure the victory in one of the matches

I think it would be nifty if they had unlockable move slots, a la Tony Hawk games, like you have to accumulate a certain amount of exp. and you can get another grapple move or another special, etc. Makes the Season mode mean something.

Somewhat off topic but I don't know where else to ask this. I just got my copy of Virtual Pro Wrestling for the n64 in the mail toady but I don't have a converter. I heard you could unscrew the console with a gamebit 4.5 and remove the dust cover and it will work. Is this true?
Also, does a gameshark work? It would be easier to just buy one off ebay?

So next will be "Goes Hollywood"
then "Big Time"
What was wrestlemania 23?
I really can't wait to see if they really did the Wrestlemania Entrances to the tee.
I hope the finally included Minitrons or just do what Wrestlemania 21 did and use titantrons as minitrons...

You can also remove a couple of pieces of the cart instead and save from mutilating your console. I don't know how though, it'll be out there somewhere.

I'm amazed by that Stevie CAW. It's perfect, I have no idea how the creator managed to make the bWo short shirt without hacks. Mind you, I'm not very good at anythnig other than CAW attires. I recently attempted a Chris Hero CAW which ended up looking identical to CM Punk, and capable of becoming Stevie with just a couple of alterations. THAT'S how bad I am at CAWing faces.

Pretty damn solid! I like how Steven Richards' tie being a little short makes him look even dorkier.

I just used a 'b' to cover up the 'n' and the sleeve length trick (pick shirt #10, select the 2nd style, modify the sleeve length then replace that shirt with another). Yes, I'm the creator

Oh, well major props to you then. I had never heard of that shirt trick before, neat.

And it finally clears something up. " We've talked about the superstar styles before but we now see how it feels in a properly heated match. Basically, every superstar has two styles (out of a possible eight) that represent their personality. John Cena's a Showman and Brawler; Lashley's a Powerhouse and Brawler. After picking your wrestler, you choose which of their styles will be the "main" one for the upcoming match - this unlocks one special ability. In Lashley's case, going for Powerhouse lets you go into a rampage - hold the right trigger and press Down with a finisher stored, and he'll go temporarily nuts, be able to reverse any grapple and do unlimited power moves without getting tired for thirty seconds. A similar thing happens if you pick Brawler, except that this rampage lets you throw punches like Muhammad Ali and reverse any strikes your opponent tries to throw back. But that's not all: each style has secondary abilities to use, too. Powerhouse, for instance, lets you power out of any pin if you've got a stored finisher. Brawler lets you throw strikes in complicated combinations, or "mount" your opponent UFC-style and drop headbutts on them with the analog stick. Dirty fighters are more complicated to use: they can cower behind the ref, or argue with him after a two count. All the abilities combine to make each wrestler play more like their on-screen counterpart. But the best bit of all? If you're playing as a Hardcore wrestler, you can grab a chair and deliberately smash yourself in the face until you bleed. The trick is, when you see blood, you get excited: so you fight much better. Now that's hardcore. " So it means we'll have 2 movesets still, we'll just pick a main one for the match and we'll have the special abilities of the main moveset, but still be able to use moves from both movesets.
