Cody Rhodes: Greatest non-gimmick rookie

The difference between Cody and The Rock was that The Rock was secretley a charisma MACHINE who WWE at first didn't use properly. I don't know if Cody secretly has tons of charisma, but I'd take a stab at no.

Just a DDT but it looks real strong, and effective. I like that he does this move since very few people do DDT's as a finisher now, I like to call that move the Spur, I think that sounds cool.

Daivari also did a RVD sell for it last night and made it look even better.

I actually liked the kid before I ever saw him in the ring. Back when he inducted his father into the HOF, I said "wow, this kid has a decent look, seems like he's got a good head on his shoulders, and can speak quite eloquently." Which automatically made me realize that he is the Black Sheep of the Rhodes/Runnels family

Only knock on Cody is his size...but thats fine...I too think hes a great worker. As long as they dont push him up the ladder too fast then it should be ok....

The dude has absolutely unlimited potential in my eyes... He looks good, he can cut a promo, and he's a solid worker... All he needs is to learn some fluidity, but that comes with time.

What I look for in the next six months or so to either turn into a cocky, self-absorbed type heel or a working class hero style babyface.

For a rookie he's an amazing worker.... light years ahead of guys like Rock, Orton, HBK and company when they were at the stage Cody is now. Man, the kid is going to be an excellent heal eventually.

I like Cody. He's a soild worker, he knows the business very well, gets well over with the fans, and he can sell for a guy that is still green.
I can see probaly a one or two time run with the Heavyweight title.

Orton is a pretty big dude, to be fair. Probably taller than Cena, at least.

Cody should just stick with the DDT he gave Daivari. Looks very clean, and no one is using it lately.

He should have a tag team or the like for a bit, to get some experience and familiarize us with him.

I think he needs to wear dark tights more. I don't mind the monogrammed tights, but no yellow.

he is showing himself to be pretty good in the ring but geez the expectations some have for him seem a bit ridiculous. when i see him i see a competent wrestler who could be something good or great. but that does not mean he is the greatest no gimmick rookie. many rookies appear competent.

I think with the correct build and a good push he can bring old-school credibility to the IC title

He's maybe Intercontential Champion material. But I cannot see him winning a World Title or even the United States title.
