Rocky couldn't get over as Rocky Maivia
Randy Orton couldn't get over as 3rd generation superstar
Is Cody Rhodes the greatest "Bluechipper?" He has absolutely nothing besides being Dusty's son
He does nothing for me BECAUSE HE HAS NO f***ING GIMMICK but the fans sure are marking.

Yes.
Im more of a fan of guys who dont have too much of a gimmick, but arent generic (ie Y2J, RVD, Eddie). Cody is a good example of that. I see big things for this dude.

I was just pointing out that the fans are marking for someone with no real gimmick or catchy look or whatever.

He is picking up the key associations - first feud was with Randy Orton, he then worked with (and beat) both members of WGTT, and now he's tagged with Mickie James. All that needs to happen now is to put him in a half decent feud, but that'll be a while what with Jeff Hardy being IC Champ.

Not to say Cody will be as great as the Rock but I could see this guy being a World Champ and seems like he is everything Randy isn't and can at least respond with the crowd and his moves look decent and gets better every week, Also yeah he might be a generic CAW right now but at least he's not like alot of CAWs that are as big as kane and do Powerbombs, Superkicks, Chokeslams and Swantons you could build him realistically like how I make CAWs, I'm sure he'll get a good finisher eventually and whats wrong with being a pure babyface? At least he could pull it off unlike Rocky, Orton and Cena.

He's been using a knockout DDT the last few weeks. Someone last night actually said "Wow....I didn't think he'd somehow come up with a crappier finisher than a rollup but he did." and I was in complete shock at that statement. |

Knockout DDT? What the smurf is that Just a DDT but it looks real strong, and effective. I like that he does this move since very few people do DDT's as a finisher now, I like to call that move the Spur, I think that sounds cool. |

I like what Ive seen thus far. He does a pretty sick looking DDT, I dont get the hate there
They seem to be developing him at a good pace thus far

He's showing a lot more potential than, say, Chris Masters did when he debuted. They seem to have pretty big plans for him too, judging by how his career has progressed thus far. He certainly has a bright future.
