That was a great match, though I never watched the F in that era.

I don't get it. At all. It's kind of a small horse, I mean what am I missing? Am I crazy?

I recall Triple H doing a similar thing with Maven a few years later where he made Maven look like gold

I recall Triple H doing a similar thing with Maven a few years later where he made Maven look like gold I knew there was another one but I forgot who it was with. Thanks. The cool thing about the era was that no one really thought Taka would win but because the non main eventers weren't treated like jokes, there was at least doubt and made matches more exciting.

Last time I remember when he made a midcarder look really good was either Eugene when he faced him at the Summerslam where Orton won the belt from Hardcore Holly, or Shelton Benjamin (forgot which one was last).

the ultimate warrior is still alive and he does shoot interviews for republicans I don't like the man behind the Warrior persona, I don't like republicans, but I still enjoyed Warrior's squash matches more than HHH's burials of talent. And I marked like crazy for that match against HHH. HHH is not, was not and will NEVER EVER be close to the electricity and intensity of the Ultimate Warrior. A Superhuman guy like the Warrior squashing an arrogant midcarder on a PPV is still better than a normal main eventer beating up 5 guys, including the reigning Tag Champs and two former Tag Champs. So, one more for the good guys: www.dailymotion.com/video/xainp_hhh-vs-ultimate-warrior...I could watch it again and again

What about when he faced the Brooklyn Brawler? He made the Brawler look like a credible threat if I recall correctly. Now he just squashes the jobbers. Hell, even Cena made Nitro look like a credible threat a few weeks ago.

I would have payed anything to see Paul London no-sell like that on HHH, just pop right back up and shake his head a go all Warrior on him. ;D

Are you kidding? That feud ruined Eugene. Before Triple H Eugene had become one of the most over guys in the company. Trips put a stop to that.

Because of his feud with Triple H!
